Hey; looks great. However I got charged 10$ for 1 pretty cool synth. However I had def bought and restored each update. I’ll look around and I may have missed somthing . I like the idea bought then it was like buy clocks, and all these neat things but so far it’s all a paywall. Sorry if missed something here. I guess I’ll delete it but that seems odd. Plus I liked the app, it was just maxing out my old iPad. But it was running real well and so not tripping yet…

There are new complex “pro” modules that are IAPs everything else is free.

  • Ahh. To me it is like seeing the sickest patches and all these modules need to be bought. It’s ok I just see it a bit differently like, patchstorage for mi rack rack and all. Well I wonder how many like top packs are. It seemed like a clock bundle,or a lfo stash be dope.peace

Scroll through the list. It is just the pro modules at the top of the list that are IAPs. They are marked Pro.

  • Hey, yeah it seemed like a lot of the sweet one though. I guess I’m sorta shocked it’s not a few bundles. Like clocks, osc, midi, or filters. To me it really does seem overdone. I bought a cool synth but at $10 I was hoping to get more. It’s all right just to much iap I guess? No biggie but yeah less loot for one synth or 5$ a clock. There is still a lot here so that’s great, and the forum is chill there.

They're just looking for a revenue model that can help support development. Such a thing is difficult to find on this unforgiving platform where people expect to get a lot, for peanuts.

Yes, for a niche tool with only a small potential user base, clearly involving a hell of a lot of work, around $50 in IAPs doesn't sound unreasonable to me. I guess the only pity is that the pricing model has been changed a few times over the past few years and I worry that that leaves people thinking, what's next and how long will this current iteration be supported before there's a new version with a totally new pricing structure?

And those IAPs are not essential to using the app.

  • I’m a little confused about what’s changed. Is it just the new complex modules that are IAP and nothing was removed? I am frustrated to learn that my iPad auto updated, so I cannot check if things are missing… but as an example, I would have sworn I had access to an arpeggiator before this version

There is a thread about that actually, and probably better this discussion moves there anyway:

    Nothing was removed.
