Korvpressor £5.99…Smoov and Schlap bundle £4.99.

    Any opinions?

I’ve been wanting the bundle for awhile, it is actually at regular price $4.99 - even though the apps are individually on sale. I Don’t have Korvpressor. I’ve heard great things about smoov and schlap, and pretty good things about Korvpressor. So basically I have neither, and this probably doesn’t help you at all, lol. I will say I’m probably getting the S&S bundle before I get Korvpressor.

Thanks @Poppadocrock. So the Smoov and Schlap are normally 4.99 each but the regular price for the bundle is 4.99 for both? Curious.

About half of Klevgrand Apps are on Sale 40% to 50% off.

    https://apps.apple.com/cy/developer/klevgränd-produkter-ab/id1118902192

    Brusfi
    Stark
    Ting
    Kleverb
    Korvpressor
    Slammer
    Essespresso
    Borsta
    Grand Finale 2
    Tomofon
    Skaka

Grand finale 2 is like competition with trinity but this dev seems so amazing, not that the other doesn’t, but this track record is incredible

What should someone in my position do with all these sales this summer!

Awesome to be in such a tough spot lol

Make a wish list. Or several by app category. Then organize it by Most Needed/Wanted I usually have 3-6 in main list, then a second list of maybes/want but undecided. I also try to get different types of apps, for example if I recently bought several audio fx, I’ll make sure then next one is a synth/midi/etc app. I also try to think if it is something I will use, do I have something similar, does it fill a need in my music making, is it unique in some way, etc… watch some videos. Unless there is an expiring sale or it’s something I really need/want I usually just wait for a sale. There’s obviously exceptions but most apps are going anywhere in 6 months, so I prioritize, do some research, and see…

GF2 is really good for my basic mastering purposes. I’ve been wanting Trinity too though, because of its EQ/master Refrence matching features. Both have Pros and cons… GF2 is AU, Trin is not, Trin has a few features GF2 does not…. So maybe one now on sale, then the other when it drops for a sale. There’s a good chance I’ll have trinity by the end of the year.

Good advice. I was close to your thinking because I’m thinking then, I just got my DAW and all synths, drums, and instruments I can handle, definitely. I got my effects in order, I’m on the fence with getting voices or going with the most important and last on the list , whcih was a mastering app - between gf2 and Trinity

    Also

The reference ability and tweak able limiter make Trinity awesome, and it’s $1 difference.

I also don’t like buying apps that collect dust. Don’t wanna get GF2 to find I should’ve just gone with Trinity

(That’s why if I have MolochVox I wasn’t sure if I needed the much pricier voices)

I was just wondering if GF2 did anything unique that Trinity didn’t (aside from being AU?). I looked recently and almost everyone is loving Trinity as of late , but the app store reviews are not great, which is important why review are left by buyers as someone mentioned earlier

(but it seems really the question is Trinity vs GF2, for me atm)

I really find this review very good, Trinity is on my shortlist since then.

    https://www.youtube.com/live/fqpsah1tykI?feature=share

Yea that’s convincing. I think I’ll grab it on sale, otherwise I might get GF2; I like the idea of having it in the master chain with other mastering effects

Really undecided on this one lol

Maybe like pops said, get GF2 on sale and if it isn’t enough (don’t see why bot) I can get Trinity BF if no summer sale

Side bar: should I just stick with moloch and learn how to use it without the evil factor? Or should I look at TB voice pitcher or something else for the vocals (looking for harmony+pitch shift +freeze; if that exists outside of moloch)

  • I like their apps, but hate their marketing approach. Did You noticed that $14.99 price anytime?

I get what you’re saying but, honestly, who cares? The only reason it looks that way is because you (me, we…this forum) incessantly look for sweet deals on apps. The people that this marketing is geared towards think they’re getting a great deal (and they are). That’s all that really matters.

Maybe one day they’ll actually charge $14.99…or not 😂

Yeah it’s been like that for a couple months or so, Even though the apps were more expensive. no guarantee it won’t change at some point but yes it has been $4.99 for the bundle in recent months.

  • Looks like the auv3 into master output might make me more comfortable after seeing another zenbeats musician using grand finale 2

That’s the only real thing I see besides a references track because even with a set limiter I can always add another limiter to the first part of the master output chain

True, but you also need a good meter, as I understood GF is not very good at that. I use Youlean for this, Trinity has it all onboard. So for GF you need at least an extra limiter and a meter to aim for the correct levels.

I remember a video on GF by Jade Starr and he was a little less enthusiastic about it.
Let’s see if I can find it.

That was a bad look, I think I’ll either do it myself with my own FF bundle
Tools separately each on the master and wait for trinity (sale or if it can’t wait ). But looks like a pass on this thanks to jade
    Thanks @Slush

  • Finally pulled the trigger on FabFilter's creative bundle (the one including Twin, even). Been close a few times before…

How much do I need Tape Pro if I already have RE-1?

Not owning either of both, but RE-1 is a delay/looper more in the style of a space echo, Tape Pro a tape sim for all sorts of tapes (and it does have a delay section) like Chow Tape (only Chow does not do delay).

Good to know. They do seem to overlap in some other ways as well though, eg both have wow & flutter. I'll likely end up getting Tape Pro and then I can see for myself…

  • Report back @Stargazer if you end up getting it

@cvwonder Happily, if getting it and getting around to make the comparison rather than getting lost in playing around with my other new apps. Hard to plan these things…

There is a pro and con

I think If sale is on till 8/25 I’ll end up with GF2 in light of other things rather than Trinity , I want to remain working in my DAW and it seems as jade said less is more; a little GF2 goes a long way, I don’t need “much” as a novice … and I’m comfortable in the DAW

Con: no reference based monitoring and no mids on the eq, limiter fixed , but that’s not too important overall from the demo

W/e I think I’m almost set , I asked a while back and it was between them and I just needed something like Moloch for harmony, pitch shift and freezing

So unless something amazing appears that’ll stop me from getting anything impulsively as advisers said ;)

If you don't own Zeeon then now is the time to get it!

IMHO it is a fantastic sounding synth that can generate wide spectrum of sounds from analogue to digital.

The interface is brilliantly laid out and you can stack 2 sounds. The effects section is very comprehensive, also, with plenty of scope to adjust parameters, the reverb in particular is awesome. The only real negative is polyphony and 8 notes, but I hope someone can prove me wrong.
