@Iskander What sharing options specifically so I can make sure?

Also did you delete App and restart device?

I had deleted and shut down and up several times. No change.
I'm not sure if it was really the app. But since then the sharing menus are almost empty - except for Apple functions.

Now I see more and more how important the sharing option is. The lack of handoffs to other apps is essential.

Even simple apps like 'Exif Viewer' are no longer visible in the sharing menu.

My hope is the next iPadOS update. Maybe then the shortcuts will be restored.

By the way, I don't have the problem under iOS 16.6 on my iPhone. There I had also not installed the app....
    There everything works as usual.

  • That’s really weird.

Interesting. Doesn’t say if it’s AU or IAA or both. I’m assuming it’s at least one lol anyone tried it?

It does say audio unit in the description, so that part looks good.

  • I installed that CodePoint shit on my Mac, I have severe issues with my bluetooth keyboard and onyX says something is corrupt on my system drive. I deleted it now, hopefully I can get back to normal but I'm not very hopeful. Nasty shit, even if it might be unintended.
I'm not 100% sure it's that app causing my problems (writing this is a nightmare, with stuck letters what not)

Audiomodern sale on now - just had an email from them.

Is it only on desktop stuff? Don't see any sign on the appstore or appsliced that anything is on sale

Their site says "SUMMER SALE IS ON! • 35% OFF EVERYTHING SITEWIDE • Coupon Code: SUMMER23 • *Ends August 17th."

Doesn't look like iOS apps are part of their sale.

The discount works when buying additional paid packs for your AudioMODERN iOS apps from their site, though! I picked up all the paid ones for Playbeat 3.

Also read in a forum thread that v4 of apps may be coming soon. Sorry don’t have the link handy but made me wonder if one should hold off if thinking about buying them as it might require repurchase soon.

Also in the forum was a mention of this (not on sale) 3rd party Playbeat 3 pack called Dark Descent which sounds awesome. (I haven’t bought it yet but plan to.) Kinda expensive at $20+ but has 100 (!) high-quality industrial/cyberpunk presets:

This app is really a piece of trash though. Sorry to be harsh, but it is. They somehow messed up the sampling of the original drum machine, causing a kind of digital distortion in the samples. When I pointed this out to them they 'fixed' it by using an eq to take out the high end. The result is a really flat sounding drum machine. Epic fail.

  • Graphic

Create Flyers & Logo Maker is free usually $1.99 - one of the better ones

Dam, this is really odd. I might recommend nobody else download this…. But I don’t know what to say. I downloaded didn’t have any issues. I feel bad for people having issues.

I believe they describe it as something that won’t “color” the audio you’ve got it on like a compressor could. So I guess it’s doing something different while still doing something similar, if that makes sense

Bass leveler and Maze Rider are back on sale, $4 off at $0.99 a piece !

maybe it will change but right now the bundle is still listed as $9.99

Is Bass Leveler something that can be replicated with a compressor/limiter/expander/gate or is it it’s own thing?

Is it comparable to Bass Mint?

Thanks for the insight! Just scooped it up, and oh man! I totally understand what ya mean. Gives it umph without coloration. Def not bass mint. I pop it in the beginning of the signal, and it’s a full, rich, present signal, into amp/pre-amp of choice, and then bass mint at the end of signal. Makes such a difference!

Yooo! His channel strip app has become one of my favorites. I’m excited for this one. I wonder if it’ll be similar to his last app where a paid and more fully featured version comes out in a few weeks?

Thanks, I did see where it said audio plugin but since it didn’t specify AU/IAA I’m still a bit hesitant. I know it’s most likely AU what that wording but you never know lol

Granted your personal opinion, and the discussion on it, but have to disagree (please no offense Gav), but it’s far from an epic fail, it is what it is, and it’s good :)

They are volume riders. Same as Waves Bass Rider or Waves Vocal Rider. Instead of compressing a signal to even it out, it automatically adjusts the gain like a wizard hand on the fader, that's all it does. Very worthwhole to have and yes of course there will be zero coloration as it is doing nothing but gain up-and-downing.

It has, but can’t hurt to remind us. It’s probably been on sale a week, but I’d have to check to be sure

The only thing which prevents me from getting these new synths is the lack of stable development on macOS. These synths from AudioKit are "compatible" with Apple Silicon computers, but they are not stable.

It’s .99 so if it went free today it was not for very long

It popped out exactly when I was looking for a delay with a strong BBD character, at the moment it lacks host sync and needs to be improved in some aspects but I really like how it sounds, the dev is a nice and responsive person and I think it has potential to become a classic.
