I really don't understand why they don't just publish daily lists of apps with free iaps, a lot of people would appreciate that, as so many apps are freemium these days

Because Appsliced are desperate for validated e-mail addresses they can sell or share to spammers oops, advertisers...
    Sorry could not resist :sunglasses:

Yup, or you can to pay for the AppRaven IAP to get that feature.

    Ah, that's useful to know

Though no, not really, because it also only shows iaps for specific apps that you tell it to watch out for. Why can't there just be an app or service that will allow you to do a simple filtered search like, show me all music apps with iaps on sale?

    Fiddlicator is now free:

With Fiddlicator2 Core coming soon, the original Fiddlicator is available as a free download.

Evolver on sale. This seems to be one of those apps that emerged to some fanfare, but in the interim has become little discussed at this forum. Has its functionality been replicated, maybe by Drambo? Or perhaps my sense is wrong…

It has some similarities with Korg's (i)Wavestation as it comes with a sample pool (the app will eat >500MB of your iDevice storage) and a dedicated UI to program your sample sequences. If that's what you want to do then it's certainly easier to use than a custom Drambo patch which would need a lot of parameters to adjust.

Anytune Pro is 50% off at $7.49

I’ve always been curious about this one. Anyone here has any experience with it?

Oh my bad buddy, I never purchased it, I just knew it gave you IAP info, wasn’t sure exactly what that info entailed. This is a great question especially since IAPs become more prevalent. I’m doing a little research on it.

Thanks! Yeah with photo stuff etc and many other niches, basically all quality apps are freemium, often with very pricy iaps or subscriptions, so a site that provided this info would be popular

Reader is free usually $1.99 - minimalist PDF reader, companion app to MacOS Reader PDF Viewer

  • Stumbled Upon this one…

In doing a bit of research for IAP sales and just app sales in general, I came across this free app, that replaces the old Apple Wish List. It doesn’t do IAP sales like AppRaven, but it’s free, and you can easily create a wishlist by sharing the app you want directly to App Wish List & Price Tracker from the App Store. Then you can have a notification sent if the app is updated or the price changes.

App Wish List & Price Tracker Free app

  • Been using this for a couple of years. Works great for keeping track of apps I want to buy.

I’ve had Anytune for years in all its versions as it’s progressed, it’s my default music player mainly for all my own tracks made on iOS. Pretty easy to add music and has great EQ & Speed controls. I think it’s awesome.

@vdk_john unfortunately no, as @Gavinski mentioned, the AppRaven app shows IAP discount ONLY for apps we have added previously to the wish list - exactly the same as on AppSliced. The difference is that in AppSliced that feature is free of charge / in AppRaven app have to pay for it (subscription or lifetime).

@Gavinski I don't understand it either. It's a pity that there are no one service / web / app that provide all IAP sale. I wrote to the AppSliced developer about a year ago with this question, but no answer. Maybe @Samu have right, but even if this is the case, for people who provided their e-mail and are logged in - If AppSliced can send In-App Purchase Alert for selected app from the database (wish list), why not to send In-App Purchase Alert for all the app from the database (or app from specific category like eg. music) ...

    .

Maybe if the developer will receive more such requests, would do something about it. Here is the contact form: https://appsliced.co/contact For interested members I have prepared an example message to paste in the form:

    .

    Dear AppSliced team,

I am writing to ask you to consider adding a feature desired by many users.

Currently to view IAP discount we add apps to wish list. Could you please add an additional feature to be able choose one from already existing category in the service to get daily by e-mail as now or at website, the In-App Purchase Alert list of all IAP discount concerning all apps from a given category? That would be awesome!

Thank you in advance for consider this.
    Best regards,
    AppSliced user

  • @animalelder Yep. I get that 100. From my personal experience messing with iOS music creation since I think maybe 2010, being completely engulfed in it, working my ass off to redo my studio, meaning repurchasing all the hardware I lost previously from my poor choices and getting it all back ten fold, I would say out of all of the iOS music apps ecosystem developers that Bram is not only my favorite but the most solid consistent. He likes what he does and does it better than anyone. I don’t really use my iPad nearly as much as I did in the previous years but I do for incorporating a handful of apps into my hardware system. His plug-ins and a few others I use and I have to say that they’re pretty damn valuable and useful. I always get really good results with his apps. They just sound good and work without weird iOS workarounds. I for sure recommend all the BramBros apps, the whole catalog if you are making music on an iPad. Cheers man.

  • @Poppadocrock Well I know you will. It really is great. Super fun. At first I didn't gell with it but eventually I did. It's amazing. That dude knows how to program like no other. Cheers man.

Hi, but that list in the picture is AppRaven and those IAP are all the IAP currently on sale not those i added to my list.

I don't know however if that list shows if you don't have the IAP (I do), but I have it in the Home Screen:

The reason I asked though is that currently you are indeed only notified for apps you are watching - I think you'd have to remember to manually open that list and filter by music, etc.

Nice! How’s the instrument removal/isolation? I e see other apps using AI for it nowadays (even Koala does it) and I’m not sure how well I could, for example, remove a voice, a piano, or a guitar from the original…

Hi @vdk_john, Thank you for additional informations. I haven't used AppRaven before. Today I installed it for the first time and just started 1 free week of premium to test IAP alerts. I will let you know my observations.

    .

EDIT: Hmm, you are right, it looks to work without set the wish list. If you want to check the results again, have to probably set the category "music" each time. I have to test the app a few days more, but maybe this is it... It's definitely worth trying "premium" during the upcoming Black Friday ;)

    1) See IAP

    2) Set specific category for IAP scan

    3) The history with list of IAP is displayed

Ah, nice! Hmm, they maybe really should make their blurb a bit clearer so that people can understand they offer that. Being able to check in every day or two and see what iaps are on sale in categories you're interested in is probably well worth the iap. Hey, can you use App Raven to let us know when the app raven iap goes on sale please? 😂 😂

@Gavinski: True :) Sure, I'll let you know, I'll keep an eye on that, already added to AppSliced - INCEPTION :p From AppRaven it looks that lifetime IAP can go down to around $17.

Ps1. The IAP history prices is around 3,5 year in case of music category (last date is 21 April 2020) - nice archive. AppRaven app was released in December 2019, so archive probably start from that date.

Ps2. There is also a nice charts showing the app price change with vertical lines indicating app version changes.

@vdk_john: there is a way for that, you need to switch "remember filters" in your profile and from now IAP section will remember "music" category automatically :)

Hehe I set myself an alert for it, but I'd guess next time might be BF hehe. And probably appsliced can also alert you in case? But yeah, if I get notified I'll mention it here (if I notice it in time - sometimes I'm too good at ignoring notifications)

I did buy it on sale when they released the new version just a couple of months back

    Oh, nice one! Thanks

  • Man, if Appraven offered a sale right now they would get mad sales!!
