cool....and yes..I am gonna wait a bit longer..for 'actual' Black Friday and the Cyber Monday that seems to be a thing now!
see what else drops in price! That Klevgrand one looks interesting tho! I shall start my youtube research!
My vote goes to TB Barricade here, three in one: an excellent compressor, limiter and one of the best metering apps on iOS. This would be my desert island app for these things. Throw in TB Equalizer and you’re all set for the basics. Now enter the world of FX…😎.

I’ll never forgive myself for hesitating on the Rock Drummer sale all those years ago… Never!
Not sure if this deserves a dedicated topic since it's also desktop but Pianoteq BF sales are on: https://www.modartt.com/buy
Excellent news!
As a former bassoonist, very excited to see FRMS Sound of Bassoon preset pack on sale 😄
Korvpresser also works as simple brickwall limiter, it' s only 3.99
thanks for putting these on sale for BF...I noticed you were asking which other apps people would like to see on sale: my vote would be for Soft, Jazz or Rock. cheers!
Vote here![;) ;)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/wink.png)
@LuisMartinez I want to report a bug in Brazilian Drum Machine but wasn’t sure where to send it so I’ll leave it here. If you tap the three dots at the top of the Sound column and then the three dots at the top of the Rhythm column the app immediately quits. It appears to still be open in the background.
TB Barricade is solid. It effectively tames the uneven wall of sound I throw at it - and sounds good doing so. Whatever I did before was nowhere near as good. It's the only paid TB app I own, but will get more if they're all this good.
Web AU is $1 off at $.99

Patiently waiting for Red Animal and Compact DeLuxe to go on sale…

No worries.
It's worth mentioning the new mastering chain in Logic Pro that came with the recent upgrade. This makes it a breeze to achieve polished results with relative ease, as it offers very artist friendly configuration options.
The ideal workflow is to write then mix, printing stems as you go. Don't be tempted to add the mastering chain before you're happy with the balance of the mix. If you add the mastering chain, whilst writing and mixing, you'll find yourself not being able to see the proverbial wood for the trees.
If you're not a Logic Pro user, I'd agree that Trinity is the best standalone option on iOS, although if you're technically minded, you can achieve the best results using an appropriate chain of FabFilter plugins. But that option presumes you've already invested in the full suite of FabFilter plugins.
I like that Trinity has a hard clipping stage, and its ability to match results against a reference track whist mastering is super useful. Plus, the fact that it's a standalone helps you stay focused on mastering as a separate, distinct audio production stage. But the fact of Trinity not being available as an AUv3 has significant disadvantages too. However, the £12.99 asking price is a better investment than the current £4.99 sale price of GF 2 IMO.
If you already own the appropriate FabFilter AUv3's, the chain that works well for me usually involves Pro-Q, Pro-MB (this has far cleaner crossover filters than those in the Trinity multi-band compressor), Saturn and Pro-L with a decent "Clipper" before Pro-L. To quote a recent post on the Sonimus blog:
The main reason I like this approach to clipping is that it usually means you're less tempted to push the limiter too hard, which often results in bad distortion. This post from 2020 mentions a bunch of iOS AUv3 Clipper options, my pick of the bunch is BLEASS Saturator but maybe you already own one of the other options.

I voted, but from the current results it looks like there are a lot more hiphoppers among us than funky lovers![ ](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/wink.png)
Mini Orchestra for me please!
Me too. Been eyeing it for a while.
Hip hop was just on sale a few weeks ago too. Bring the funk!

Not sure if this is still on sale but it can be a brickwall limiter.
And on another note, TAL UNO is $10 which is 50% off and it is a great desktop port for iPad.

Appreciate the mastering clinic. That's a wiki-worthy post right there.👏

Oy, Gav: ApeMatrix audio can be sent to AUM via 2 audio busses; and audio+midi as an IAA instrument plugin, as seen in leftmost screen shot. (I think KQ loopback provides same, or similar, functionaliy.)
I haven't really dug into the midi porting, bc the Instrument plugin really taxes resources once it's loaded, while the the busses don't at all.
Also, AUM can act as the source, and port audio (not midi) to the Ape, as seen on the right.
