Has anyone tried Luxe? I’m always kinda curious about these “magic sauce” kind of apps. What exactly is it doing? A harmonic exciter like TB Enhancer/RRS?

Yeah, it’s a kind of harmonic exciter. Compression and saturation. Two algorithms and an intensity slider. Luxe or Finesse.

When it came out, there weren’t many similar apps. Now there are so many it seems to get similar results. The simplicity is nice I guess.

If anything, it’s pretty transparent. But I like Nembrini’s similar apps.

Anyone know if Unfiltered Audio are doing iOS sales this year? Or if that rumored synth/new effect is still coming out?

Annoyingly they've hidden the bundle, but to be honest, these are such excellent apps at any price. Silo and lo-fi-af are the two I have and I love them and use them all the time.

I’ve been hoping Amazing Noises apps would go on sale! It never fails to amaze me that they don’t update their AppStore descriptions to make it clear that they do have AUv3 functionality (Moebius Lab as a host, the others as plugins). I mean the information is there in the version history but surely it would be worth adding to the main descriptions?

I don't know how many times I've been glancing at Moebius Lab only to pass. Now, I've totally missed you could load Auv3 so you're definitely right, bad marketing/info. I finally got it now and it's awesome, they should thank you, as I do now -- Thank you! 😊

Oh you’re in for a treat. That app is bonkers in the best possible way.

Thanks! I probably don’t need it but now that it’s also discounted and only $3 I’m a bit more curious lol

    @vdk_john thanks!🤞😅

Was still hoping for a Cyber Monday Drambo sale, but seems unlikely now.

I don't really need it, but read a lot of good things about it and was hoping to a sale similar to last year's.

They seem to have random sales now and one product at a time

That’s how I was feeling about Buttersynth… was hoping for a sale. Instead I’m now hoping for a good Bandcamp Friday and I’ll pick it up 😎

@Poppadocrock has reported the sale and….

    Very interesting information

  • Music app IAPs most already shared.

OUTSIDIFY is $3 off at $2.99

Just went to buy it but it’s already back up to full price. Shame, maybe it’ll be down again for the end of year? I’ll set an AppSliced alert.

Thanks for your work keeping us all informed through Black Friday/Cyber Monday @Poppadocrock, it’s highly appreciated. Cheers.

Damage done. No more buying for a long time!

    • SWAM tenorSax
    • Magic Verb
    • Drum-drops breakCrateKit
    • Skaka
    • Combustor (not sure I needed this as I have Drambo with the same resonator?)
    • Panna (not sure if I needed this with fabFilter collection?)
    • Dubfilter (two of my favourite words combined, how could I not resist)
    • Altispace2
    • Tal-u-no-lx (need to find the presets now)
    • Springs
    • Other Desert Cities

You can never have enough fx/reverbs, although I held out for R2, moogfooger, hazze2, magicDeathEyeCompressor, fosfat, TBbarricade, nolimit2, mela4, no input mixer, allTheLumBeats, painoTeq, drum-80, BLEASS(chorus/flanger) and FAC(chorus/phaser)

Thanks for all the help @Poppadocrock!! And the good sound peeps that answered my questions @craftycurate @Edward_Alexander

Just stumbled over this freebie also. Seems interesting… idk…

  • Interestingly SugarBytes marked down Factory’s IAP to $8.99. Also Friendship Bracelets is $2 off 😂

Factory seems an interesting synth, just playing with the demo. I already bought iSEM and the Tera FM recently , do I really need more.. mmmm thinking 🤔

  • Factory is hands down my most-used iOS synth, well and truly worth the money IMO

  • Factory is insanely good, and seems to be ridiculously underrated. Loads of amazing presets as well. Highly reccomended! 😋

  • Sales are over for SAND and BEATSURFING. So much for my day at the beach... ☹️

  • I got so far:

    -things flip eq
    -other dessert cities
    -bark filter
    -combustor
    -rm-1 wave modulator
    -bleass filter
    -tal u no xl
    -fac bandit's delay and reverb

Tried to keep it low cost shopping spree except tal-u-no-xl. Still considering to buy a couple of klevgrand apps since they're on their lowest price right now.

  • That’s a great deal on Factory!

You know what’s pretty funny? The number of crazy dating app results when searching for “SugarBytes” in the App Store on a phone…

+1 for Factory. One of my top 5 of all time. The presets can be a bit wacky though and it does take a bit of taming, but the manual is excellent, and with a bit of coaxing, it's capable of a wide range of excellent sounds. There are quite a few oscillator types, including Wavetable, and the effects are excellent (The resonant Pianoverb is unlke anything else), and the modulation system is bonkers but also highly usable.

anyone know where the IAP button is in Factory please?

    • one of my favourite synths for FM stabs/skanks

I find this to be true of all the Sugar Bytes apps I have.

I’ll send all you DRambo boys a few dollars if it will help, lol
I bought it and never used it, Like half the mountain of apps I have purchased
A shame but true, probably have 40+ unused apps I’ve bought over the last couple years

I would be genuinely surprised if you were not in the majority on this forum with that approach 👋

  • Alright, I bought Factory. I have too many synths, this cannot be healthy.

Factory is pretty unique though, so at least you didn’t get another plain Jane analog emulation.
