Personally the whole ecosystem of Lumbeats is a big selling point. Being able to send grooves to and from other apps and iBassist basically being able to run an entire song is something that another new drum app would be hard pressed to replicate. I think this apps are still well worth having.

Yes, I mean no disrespect. Having SoftDrummer and iBassist jam together, fused with some ethnical drums, seems great! But the main reason I bought SoftDrummer a good while ago, was that I would be able to play those kits on my Roland V-drums... only to find out later that this feature had been removed. However, I have come to rely on SoftDrummer for my daily practice, so there is nothing but love for SD and Lumbeat as such from my side. <3

Have you tried the DrumJam pads section as a target for your e-drums? Those sample layers might be even deeper than Lumbeats.

Drumjam would be #1 if it was auv3 I think!

Speaking of whcih, Rayzoon Jamstix is 60% off (@wim)

    @vdk_john thanks!🤞😅

Was still hoping for a Cyber Monday Drambo sale, but seems unlikely now.

I don't really need it, but read a lot of good things about it and was hoping to a sale similar to last year's.

They seem to have random sales now and one product at a time

    Quick question…

I’m looking To be a more detailed in my spatial mixing. With that in mind… I’m wondering if I should consider Pana, Audioscope, or the True Pan & M/S Bundle. I use AUM the most, and my iPad is getting up there in age, so im looking for something light on cpu and fairly simple to use for positioning my individual audio channels. Thanks.

I don’t know the answer but i was just about to pose the same question. What do people think?

  • And along the same lines Klevgrand Rum or Quantovox Spatializer?

I know they’re different types of efeect but i wonder whether they can achieve the same types of results?

@Audiomodern Hi, is there any chance/hope for a sale on iOS products this year ? Thks

I contacted them about this already, and the answer was that "our iOS products are already heavily discounted", which I think means "no". It's their product to do with as they wish of course, but devs who offers sales also have cheaper iOS prices, it's just the market state, but they might attract a few more sales if they offered some discount.

Thanks for your info 🙏🏻. It makes sens and I can agree with the fact that I've surely had more value and fun out of Riffer than what I paid for it.
They're running an 35% OFF sale on their desktop plug-ins that's why I was hoping for a possible sale on iOS. 😉

They are like the toneboosters of generative instruments : they are priced right all year round. I love them. I only use playbeat but the app so we’ll written it made me expand my genre due to rhythm (but shout out to @echoopera for putting me on; he catapulted me into dRambo and production with playbeat)

True ; I'm ok with that. I also really like the UI of their apps 👍🏻... on iOS we have SO MANY devs that are more than priced right all year round (not to say more than "underpriced")... but we're still very happy when sale's periods arrive 😁🙃.

If soft drummer goes on sale I’ll probably buy it as well. I only have iBassist, Future Drummer, Jazz, and HipHop. Soft Drummer is the last one I really want.

I only had SoftDrummer and never got around to try any Lumbeat apps together. But now I got Indian Drummer (thanks for nice discount!) alongside SoftDrummer, playing into Loopy Pro. And when I saw how nicely they played together, it DAWned on me, how these apps are like musicians, and connecting them is like having a band playing together… and how each Lumbeat app gives more value to the others. My perspective changed, one might say.

I almost regret not getting more Lumbeats on sale this time, but I am super happy with what I got. Will have lots of fun with it in the months to come. Excellent quality! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

And isn’t there a new app in the works from this developer? I wonder if that would include be the pad section, so one can really play the instruments with a fingerpad or e-drums. Anyhow, I’m down a module and need to get myself an eDrumin before the Roland works again. Which may take a while, so no rush for now. But thanks for good advice!

Can’t speak to cpu. Those apps do slightly different things. True pan is my favorite. It gives a more organic result, more than just automating the planner knob.

There's a lot more to ApeMatrix, so buy it if you can. I forgot about the snapshot pad, detailed here expertly by skiphunt: https://forum.audiob.us/discussion/26636/apematrix-snapshot-pad-is-awesome-tutorial

Also, I find it less resource hungry than AUM. And it has light and dark modes (4 skins, actually.) I'm not really sure what AUM has that AM doesn't... at least nothing I need.

I have most of the DAWs now. Ape will always hold a place in my heart.... although I have to say, having bought Loopy Pro finally, my mind is surely being blown by it.

  • Chords Pad is a free app, with 4 IAPs. The midi out IAP is $1 off at $.99

I was hoping for the same. I’m Drambo curious at best. If I get a gift card over the holidays I might go for it. I’ve got plenty of apps to play with in the meantime. ☺️

Somebody mentioned earlier that it syncs well with external gear. I have had an impossible time trying to get the Digitakt to run in an AUM session happily. Anyone have experience making one run in ApeMatrix?

  • Let this Black Monday forever be known as the day Drambo betrayed us all.

KIDDING, but for sure i was gonna snap it up too if on sale, just need to see whether Drambo or BAM would be more useful to my chaos. Drambo seems deep, like anything you can think of it, can do, maybe even brings your dead childhood dog back to life, and BAM seems like a good jump in immediately and throw down some great jams...

Anyone know if Unfiltered Audio are doing iOS sales this year? Or if that rumored synth/new effect is still coming out?

@Poppadocrock has reported the sale and….

  • I’ll send all you DRambo boys a few dollars if it will help, lol
I bought it and never used it, Like half the mountain of apps I have purchased
A shame but true, probably have 40+ unused apps I’ve bought over the last couple years

Klevgrand has added a few more apps to their current sale!

DAW LP is $8 off at $4.99

Rum Room Simulator is $9 off at $5.99

Degrader is $8 off at $4.99

Also Luxe - audio enhancer is $5 off at $2.99

Has anyone tried Luxe? I’m always kinda curious about these “magic sauce” kind of apps. What exactly is it doing? A harmonic exciter like TB Enhancer/RRS?

It’s a great app. I love all their releases so far. That said, I tend to reach more for Knock or Beef. But Bass Mint and the RRS app are great for adding a little oomph without coloring or saturating the sound as much.

Woah that’s actually really cool. So you can bassist blend and seamlessly move between 4 different apps?

Am I about to buy ApeMatrix? 😂 I don’t think it’ll convince me to leave AUM but I’d use it often enough to justify the price. Just for that feature (and the LFOs) alone. Thanks for making me spend money 😆

  • i highly recommend those Unfiltered Audio apps, jump on board while they’re half-price
