Iceworks’ weekly sale continues, with Redshrike being $6.99 in place of Mersenne.

Wish there was a sale on Synclavier! Hopefully today will be a productive bandcamp Friday so I can snatch it 😎

Yes sir. They’ve been doing a steady rotation of always having one app $2 off, then switch.

That’s a weird one, it’s been awhile since I can recall a sale there. I think it disappeared for a while, I actually got Synthclavier go, which is the iPhone version for free at one point, but it’s now no longer on the App Store

iPhone version is still there…that’s the one I’m trying to get soon 😎 https://apps.apple.com/us/app/synclavier-go-app-and-plugin/id1378108734

But yeah looks like it’s been the same price for a couple of years

    Edit

Screw it …I bought it anyway 😂

  • Video

OldV Retro Video is free usually $1.99

  • Supposedly, Overloud is having their, "biggest sale of the year," (source: JRR Shop). But I haven't seen any sales for iOS. Am I missing anything?

  • Yeah, I received an email from them yesterday. Apparently the sale only involves desktop products. They have done this in the past as well. I guess IOS isn’t a priority for them anymore.

    Hardware sale but of relevance:

IK Multimedia has a sale on a bunch of hardware, including mobile interfaces and keys. If you have Jam Points in your IK account, they can be used to bring the sale prices down even further.

    https://www.ikmultimedia.com/news/?id=iRigSpringSavings2023

EDIT Everyone knows you don't have to use these with IK apps, right? They'll work with anything.

  • Songwriting Studio is $2 off at $2.99 - Has a pro IAP unlock at $9.99 not sure what it comes with…

Loopfield is $2 off at $1.99 - this is an app I always wanted to try @jakoB_haQ had it in his favorite samplers or some list like a year ago. Don’t think it has much connectivity, but creates loops based off surrounding noise. Does have audio import and export.

Update - it does have IAA and Audiobus compatibility in the Update Notes.

  • Incredibox is $4 off at $.99

  • Graphic Design

Character Draft is $7 off at $4.99

I’ve always wanted to try this one as well. Went ahead and bought, gonna give it a go.

So did I. I like it after a quick 20 min session. It’s simple, you get some great sample fodder, or even track ideas.

Yes, Loopfield is quite fun and it had an update recently too. For only $2 it is a steal.

Agreed! Were you using it with or without headphones? Haven’t tried it with headphones yet. Got a couple of “file not supported” errors for some of my loops I tried to load, though. Which is weird because it was the same file type as some others it accepted.

The update is what sold me. I never got it before because it seemed somewhat abandoned. I think besides the last couple months, it went a couple years without an update.

Yes, I thought it was abandoned also. I bought it when it first came out and really like it. With things like Gauss and other looping/sampling/chopping apps there is more choice now but Loopfield still gets a run every now and then.

Agreed. Soundfruze (sp?) is another good similar app. Definitely prefer Gauss, it’s one of my favorites, but I can see myself really enjoying this one.

  • loopfield also fun with those ambeo headphones back in vogue lately…

How do you load a file? I can’t see that as an option (?)
