I have so many calculators on my iPad, but all with ads. Is there a good cheap calculator on iOS? Why is this so hard to find a good calculator, the most basic app you can think of?

PCalc Lite https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/pcalc-lite/id300311831 Is free and does everything I need.
I’ve had this app for so long I forgot how cheap it is. It’s amazing, especially at that price. No real connection but audio export is good enough for me.
I was on the beta for this one and it’s so fun. He’s really on a roll lately and becoming one of my favorite Devs. These recent apps hit the perfect sweet spot between price and functionality.
Woah! I’ve had this one for years but if someone doesn’t have it, definitely try it out for free. It’s great.
Mine is called Calc and I’ve used it forever but couldn’t find with a search cause there is so many. I think it was free or I got in on a free sale. Here’s icon.

Yea I was excited to see this free. Just had a fun little session. Pretty cool.
+1
As a developer and programmer, I’ve used the paid version of PCalc for years and nothing beats it. It can be customised in so many ways and has a great widget for the basics too if that’s your thing.
I’m the lazy one, using swipe down on iPad desktop, then type calculation in Spotlight search box. 🫣
Funny, because they have a pic in App Store, suggesting you could potentially load a pic, and maybe “paint” your house, or even “tell me what color this is”, but nope. then whining in the response to reviews “we never said it could do that..”,but I like the last pic in store “BE A REAL PROFESSIONAL” lol, (but with some other app), no disrespect to @Poppadocrock , just some of these devs don’t try too hard…
I have to say, my most useful calculator app is Calcbot. And it works beautifully on both iPhone and iPad. I use it so much I even got the conversion upgrade.
