Maze Rider is $5 off at $.99

Check the bundle you might be able to get one free if you previously purchased the other at a higher price.

    Is Maze Rider a limiter?

I'm not sure of Maze Rider but what these type of plugins usually do it automatically ride the level control. The idea is you set your desired level, maximum amount of level adjustment both up and down and that's the idea. Depending on the plugin there may be other features like attack and release for example.

Right, so it’s more about getting/keeping things at a certain level.

All the Nembrini Rack FX that aren’t free are $2 off at $1.99

    Does anyone have any recommendations?

  • @johnfromberkeley They're just common effects which you likely already have. I'd say listen to the demos (playlist below) and see if you hear anything you like. They also offer a 15-day trial on desktop, if that sounds appealing.

Every time I get a simple, no nonsense helpful response like this, I wish there was a simple, no nonsense “like” button on these forums.

red germanium-ish Fuzz is my goto for extra crunch. pairs quite well with the free Nembrini Clon pedal. i like the green Screamer a bit more than Nembrini's free 808 pedal. it works well with Nembrini's 8180 amp for smooth leads.

  • Just fyi that beat scholar intro pricing ends June 15th . It will go from $9.99 to $19.99! The trial is 14 days but if you want the intro price be sure to buy it before June 15.

It first ended today but we talked to the devs in the other thread and they were great about listening and adjusting the price back for another week to give notice.

    Utility

CALC Smart is free usually $.99 - a version of the calculator I use if anyone still needs a pretty good one.

Actually this is the paid version of the Calc I used, I deleted my old one CALC Swift since CALC smart recommended to do that. it’s the first time it’s been free in 5 years and it’s packed with features. Conversions, all kinds of stuff this is a great app. Grab it while you can.

Well, that sale didn't last too long.

Yep, you've got it. So rather than pushing the loud bits toward the quiet bits (compression) or pushing the quiet bit toward the loud bits (expansion) it pushes from both sides. Except that it is, rather than like compression or expansion, which is responding to a ratio, it is supposed to be adjusting the level up and down, depending on your desired level, toward the set target

Yea only a day I think. I reshared it when I realized it was the first time free in 5 years. If you really need a Calc with lots of features it’s still worth $.99 for CALC Smart it has a lot in it, or try the CALC Swift the free version, with Limited features but as a calculator works great.

Yea I use bass Leveler. It’s super simple to use just pop it on a bass track and it really helps the bass cut through the mix. It helps bring the bass out, and adds a lil umph to it without changing sound.

Hmm both of these are pretty interesting. Wondering how well Polly works as a drum sequencer.

It’s worth a dollar. Not sure I’d drop six bucks but for $1 it’s definitely worth it.
