That’s awesome. Glad we’re getting a lot of pitch correction apps lately. Was worried last year if it was actually going to happen.
not bad!
Not bad, but sound is only on left channel. Is this only with the trialversion?
No, it can only work on monophonic signals, so it takes the left channel only. Applying the pitch detection from the left channel to the right channel would cause artefacts, so in future I'm planning a dual mono option, but it will take twice the CPU usage.
what is your use case with stereo mics?
I had put it on a mono track in Auria. But only left side signal…
When the input buffer is mono, it copies the processed left channel to the right channel, but I'll check it out in Auria anyway.
Ok, tests performed:
cool app. does anyone know of any sources to get vocals that can be freely used? royalty free or whatever?
Pianobook would have some in Decent Sampler format, all free. These would be more vocal phrases etc, not whole tracks. Decent Sampler also has some paid packs on their website and in-app
hey @dwrae ! I'm trying to force notes by midi on drambo but it seems to just ignore the midi input. Is there anythign I have to setup for this to work?
I want to force some notes to stick to the note I play on the keyboard/sequence
I am completely confused by the force notes thing, sorry. Probably due to a long day of coding again.
So, simply put, you want to get the MIDI output of drambo into an instrument track of AEMS, right?
duplicated
I want to force the correction of VTP to a set note dictated by midi, this is useful when in some parts the corretion oscillates between two notes, but it can also be used creatively to create new melodies from an auto tuned vocal.
Is this feature not available? If not, what is the midi in on Vocal Tune PRO AUv3 plugin for?
Aha, now I understand. Well, does drambo support MIDI input for AUv3's?
In AEMS, there is the MIDI button where you can select the MIDI track for input and in Cubasis there is a little button for it in the top bar. I don't have drambo, so I have no idea if it can and how. The AUv3 Vocal Tune PRO can however handle it.
I just want to say this app sounds great! Bought it the other night while playing around in Endlesss and made this singing into my phone (connected to my MacBook via IDAM) running AUM with some Blackhole, AU3FX:Dub and NoLimits and thought it really made me sound good. Almost no latency either which was sometimes an issue with other vocal processing apps!

Thanks for your purchase, much appreciated!
cool thanks for the vocal sources. i’ll check them out
Yes. Im sending midi to vocal tune but nothing happens. Maybe I’m doing something wrong I’ll recheck
Sending midi notes to Vocal Tune Pro doesn’t seem to be working in AUM either.
With the exact same midi setup Dervoco (a vocoder plugin by beepstreet) is receiving notes while Vocal Studio Pro isn’t.
The cyan notes are sent to the synth while the gray notes are sent to both Dervoco and Vocal Tune Pro.
When DerVoco is active and Vocal Tune Pro bypassed, I hear the cyan notes being corrected to the gray ones. The other way around I still hear the cyan notes being played by the synth.
Vocal Tune Pro is correcting notes if I change scales, it just doesn’t react to midi notes.
It seems I have messed it up 2 revisions ago. A fix has been uploaded. I hope it gets released today.
amazing! I'll report back once I update it
thanks! I will check on drambo when the update drops!
MIDI working just fine!
With the current version?
Version 1.0.5 with the MIDI fix has been released today.
The update
yup, midi works now. Thanks for the quick update!
Thanks VTP, you make me sing!
I know some people hae auto tune but if it let's you sing what you want I think it's a blessing
