Thanks but the less third party apps (for function) we need the happier me we get.😁
@rheslip @Pxlhg : it's already at the top of my list for the next version ...

Sweden while being part of the EU does not use EURO as the currency...
Each country in the EU has their own VAT and the 'local' Appstores show the current EUR price including local VAT.
What Appsliced does is a EUR to USD currency conversion with no added regional VATs which can be slightly misleading.
So while both Finland and for example Germany use EUR the prices on the App Store while shown and EUR are NOT the same in both Germany and Finland...
Enough with the currency conversions already or start a new post about it. (please!)
Hey, @woodman I have issues with 1. Name changes on rotary to take, you have to change color(always work) or blip on some menu (sometimes work) for it to stick. 2. Value changes in the list for rotary get reset when I hit enter, not always though. 3. A value ladder don't work at all for me, possibly because of (2) but. even if I get a value to stick it doesn't seem right. If I hit enter on (image) they will go back to default (I am doing this right, right?)
Interesting! I might have to check this out, though I might feel a little guilty if I got this while not owning any of the other “Wood products”.
Any bundle sales planned? @woodman
@Pxlhg : 1 is definitely a UI update bug (fixing it tonight), for the edit field values you have to hit enter to be seen and before moving to a next one, I'll see if I can improve this so that any edit is seen after leaving the field. What do you want to obtain with a ladder ? that was not clear to me.
Woodman
@Edward_Alexander : don't feel guilty, buying 1 is a good start :-)
no I haven't thought on a bundle, I can have a look at it.

Ah, good to hear that. Nothing but experimenting, in this case have various fields of one controller address several different functions (was that not the idea, sort of?). I find it immensely boring to program these buttons and functions, especially when failing of course. I wish more synths just had CCs mapped but many that have the option, just leave all empty. I've been playing around with Tomofon (no MPE yet) which have maybe hundred CCs to assign if you want to. We'll see how far I manage to get. (I will share any preset worth the name if so)
The preset I did showed up in the other iPad version of troller without me doing anything - very good👍🏻
@Pxlhg : and I also noticed that when trying to edit the lower fields that they become hidden by the keyboard, something I hadn't seen as I develop on the Mac where this obviously does not happen. Maybe I should just replace the fields by sliders or dropdown's

Question. And where are the presets stored?I can't find it. And how to delete the created presets.
Would love to see a video of this app in action. I love this kind of stuff but already have a bunch of similar apps.
I hope there will be reviews, because the tool is good. I have already connected it with Tera Pro (mpe timbre). And I like the interface of this keyboard.
@solncekreeze : they are in iCloud Drive : with the Files App you should see a folder WoodTroller containing .json files. You can remove them there as well.
Woodman
it only ships with one, a preset for Woodsynth. Deleting is a good question @woodman
I don't have such a folder in iCloud.
@solncekreeze @Pxlhg : in WoodSynth I added a browse button which opens the system file chooser and which has lots of possible actions (delete, copy, rename, move , ...) however I removed it in WoodTroller as I thought there won't be that many presets but maybe I should reconsider ? let me know.
Woodman
As a result, I don't see the folder. But the presets are saved. The Woodsynth folder is in place. And about presets-it seems to me convenient to configure without going to the Files menu.
@solncekreeze : hmmm weird, I'll do some investigation, in tghe past I had some similar problems and sometimes it just took some time before iCloud synced everything.
Woodman
Presets on different iPads synced quickly. But I don't see the folder. It's not scary, but it's just a fact.
And it would be great when you choose chords, the extra keys would disappear. Or there would be an opportunity to remove them. Otherwise, when moving, notes fall that are not included in the fret sequence.
How do you scroll keyboard octaves?
Would scrolling octaves ever be good via midi knob. Like when a knob is synced mode and not free mode.
Or even just cc via button. Were just thinking where my controllers are from ipad.
What if you map controller to macros. Can you hide sections of screen ( but theres no videos )
So all assumptions.
The CenterNote knob switches notes. You can press and enter numbers (24,36,48,60-for example for C). You can turn the handle itself. Semitones zoom in or out of the keyboard.
But is it possible to switch octaves in the standard way (left-right)- I don't know. I don't think so.
Cool.
Thanks.
Hope there be a review.
Cant just buy apps anymo
I hope there will be reviews. But I already like WT. Only because the MPE data is correctly written to Atom. It's good.
@solncekreeze @sigma79 : I was planning to add a "Prev" and "Next" octave buttons to easier switch the center note in a next version. Is that what you are looking for ?

Just to clarify my comment, the issue is not (so much) with the pricing but with the inconsistent markup. When every price point is consistent but one stands out because it has an extra 11% it doesn't make any sense tome. That is what I'm getting here at present. Enough of that anyway. It's not relevant to the thread or product and I probably shouldn't have brought it up here.
Not sure Woodman.
Cant you make a vid and demo app?
I also avoided the Woodman apps primarily because in most cases they target solutions that are well serviced but after
Buying WoodSynth and now WoodTroller I musty admit that the attention to user interface justifies the purchase.
I am NOW eager to purchase apps that work in iPadOS and MacOS with IOS as a fallback but NOT a must have.
WoodTroller fits that new purchasing criteria. So, I will start to re-visit the whole category to see which fit this new criteria.
I just tried it with WoodSynth and it's really cool. I like when you can change preset from a controller. I don't know how to do that though, with other synths. Anyway, how good this app may become (I feel it has some way left to go) it still remain the fact that you have to put some work in to get it to interact with various other apps. I'm personally not very fond of that kind of work (I like to make sound!) but maybe we can help each other out with some preset shares when it's possible(?).
And if it's not difficult-download the instructions for WT.
Yes, please.
btw.....I really like Woodtroller. I control my MPC Live 2 with it.
