@all @Gavinski @Pxlhg : just released 1.1 with a bunch of new features ! let me know what you think of them ...
btw The BT connection was a new domain for me , so may need some further tweaking ...
Woodman
Good man, Woodman! Looking forward to checking the new version, cheers!
Not on my AppStore yet btw, still in review?
Nice to see response to input… is a potential iPhone implmentation possible? I would pay for “WoodTroller iPhone” and not expect you to just make it freely available. I think the cost of supporting that small user interface overtime would put me off but with Bluetooth added I think it’s a valuable peripheral running your core featureset.
Excellent. Thank you very much🙌
Great, looking forward to it.
@McD : yes I'll make an iPhone version but that will take me a bit longer ...
Woodman
If it works for you…
@woodman I just tried the BT and it took a few tries to connect to the second iPad where I used Yonac Trooper but once established it works fine. Yonac Trooper by the way is a synth which allows for midi mapping you can save, import and export. It also has MPE capabilities.
Edit: just noticed that many of the default controls on Troller addresses something on Trooper, so fun!😁
Cool update!
Connected my Argon8 to the iPad. Launched AUM. Launched WT. I didn't touch anything in the routing. And WT immediately connected to Argon8. And I do not know how to disable it. I searched through all the midi settings. It just controls Argon8 and doesn't shut down;). When trying to connect a synthesizer on an iPad, WT controls either two or only Argon8. What am I setting up wrong?)
@solncekreeze : if you are using WT via AUM the midi routing can be done via AUM so check in Advanced if "Send Midi Ext" is off
otherwise (when Midi DAW is on) midi will be sent via 2 ways ...
Woodman
Excellent. Thank you very much. Everything works. And how well it works with Argon8.
@solncekreeze : super !
Woodman
This is a big find for synthesizers that support MPE🙌
Please do. I'm assuming it won't require much time or added work from you and it may prove to be an attractive entry offer for those proles (like me) who don't yet have any of your apps but reading the fan comments here are increasingly interested.
☝️🙂👍
@ervin : ok, np, what would you think of a "Creative" bundle with WoodSynth, WoodStepper, WoodTroller and maybe WoodScaper ?
Woodman
I would find it very... creative! 😀👍
Jokes aside, Paul from 4pockets does this thing where he has quite a lot of bundles available, with inevitable overlaps but each addressing slightly different interests. I think it's a good idea, I mean what can he lose.
@ervin : 2 more bundles are now available : The Creative Tools and the Guitar Essentials
Woodman
I would find it very... creative! 😀👍> @woodman said:
Wow. Thank you. I do hope they will bring you additional sales. 👊
@ervin : haha so do I
Woodman
Love bundles picked up WoodTroller for free as have the other creative bundle.
Can you send me a code so I can demo woodtroller instead.
Theres still no demo.
I’d get it provided I have the funds..been wanting woodsynth for a while now!
I would like to know if it's possible to change the keys or the rows/columns like in Velocity KB and KB-1
Good controller.
Thanks.
I note that an update for this features the higher resolution and MPE successor MIDI 2.0 stuff. And so does WoodSynth. I will try this pairing as part of an early peek into MIDI 2.0 when I find the time. Anyone else exploring this side of things at this early stage?
@SteveElbows Logic is midi 2 capable let’s see.
Good. So far I got as far as looking in the WoodSynth manual and there are some important caveats in there and tips for establishing that things are working.
Section 14.17 of http://www.woodmansimmaculatemaplesyrupstudio.be/woodsynth/WoodSynthHelp.pdf
Of particular note:
@SteveElbows : this is all very new for me as well so very nice you are experimenting : keep me posted if you find things not working as they should.
