Some ABF changes, and a welcome to Doug and Jo, our new mods
Hey folks!
You may have noticed a couple of changes to the forum recently – I’ve closed the off topic forum, and created an announcement with some new ground rules.
The most significant change is that the one-and-only Doug and Jo (@thesoundtestroom) are our new mods/admins; they stepped up in a huge way, and volunteered to help out around here. I don’t even know how to express my gratitude to them.

The forum is so big now that it’s practically impossible for @CapnWillie and @MichaelTyson to deal with on their own, Michael in particular has so much work to do with Loopy PRO that time taken with other things distracts from his main work, so basically it’s all down to @CapnWillie
So hopefully things will be dealt with quicker and any questions you may have can be answered faster too.
Yeah a massive forum like this definitely needs a few mods, and being in different timezones is helpful too. Great stuff, and big thanks to both of you for volunteering!

This is such a relief. I come here for music and music app related discussion. All the other stuff was wearing me out, it was getting harder and harder to avoid without just avoiding the forum entirely. Thank you to all involved for this realignment.

Just a thought: there’s a bunch of stuff under Off Topic that is directly music related, and I’m wondering if there’s mileage in maybe having a couple of extra categories? Someone’s already mentioned Music Theory, and I’m wondering about something like an Inspirations category for posting links to videos/sites/books/articles people have found inspirational.
