  • really like this demo! Thanks for doing it!!! I feel like Im in a mystical kung fu movie listening to it

  • Haha, thanks Dan! I’ll take ‘mystical kung fu’ - Binarhythmic is also great, so get on that open beta if you haven’t yet. Really love Cascade, and it’s exciting that the release date has moved forward - was originally scheduled for next week!

  • These are the kind of effects I really enjoy :sunglasses:
Being a Velvet Machine junkie this will be on my radar for sure!

Yes Samu! Velvet Machine was fantastic but this is even better, with a lot more control and an extremely slick UI. Really enjoying it. And anything that pierces your app-buying embargo must be good indeed.

Yeah, I try to keep the spendings under control.
This month is on the 'safe side'...

Piano Motifs (with IAPs) which I really enjoy, True Pan and WaveShaper IAP for TeraPro.

I'll make an exception if Cascade drops in the store before Monday :sunglasses:

It should be dropping later today!

  • Late to the game with Piano Motifs btw!!

Yeah totally! I'll get desktop too.

  • Woah... Far too cheap, dear me

Excellent, I’ll take it. I used the crap out of Velvet Machine on several actual tracks when it came out, and it’s still prominent among the staples in my “B” folder (stuff that’s not bread and butter reverb, delay etc, def not B-tier, just more specialized). It stood my test of time.

  • Excellent Demo Gav!

Really enjoyed this. This is how a reverb/ multi effect should be demo'd. One sound playing and then going through the presets and tweaking things. No clutter to get in the way of this sonic beauty.

Thanks - yeah, I had a complaint a while ago from a viewer on youtube who felt that an earlier demo of another delay was too cluttered on the input. And he was right! So I made this one very minimal. That way you can really hear a) the sound of the delay / reverb b) the difference between each preset. Will be boring for some but you can’t please everyone. I’m glad you appreciate it!

  • Hook that Glacial Build preset to my veins

  • I’m just thinking also, how much would people pay for this if it was boutique guitar pedal?😛 Hella more than $5 bucks - probably $300+?

Funnily enough I have my eye on the Neunaber Illumine, which is over £400, sort of puts things into perspective!

  • LOVE this! Solid, great interface design, and sounds amazing!

Great for experimental sound design too :)

Don’t go there! This and a few other plugins wil likely get you where you want to go haha

Definitely taking a cue from Unfiltered Audio I think, which is wonderful as they have some of the best UI designers around. And yet Yuri did this on his own?! Major kudos. And yes, the sound….can really be a stairway to heaven. Extremely blissful, very pure. As much as I love UA Silo, mentioned earlier, it can’t touch this for these kind of clean, ecstatic sounds.

  • I thought: how many seconds until I get to hear how this FX App sounds?

    I was pleasantly surprised.

Now I’m wondering: how many hours until every UI control is explained to me.

And then: how many weeks until I listen to the second video while driving and get little out of it except a car accident.

Oh well, thank you @Gavinski for listening to your critics and trying to make a difference.

App sold and purchased after 20 seconds of demo.

Thnx McD, that means a lot! Yes, driving while listening to hypnotic beats may be dangerous, as Nancy Reagan rightly said, or something to that effect. If you think this one is risky, listen to my Audiothing Hand Clapper video 😂.

That's some Class A psychedelia that won't show up in your bloodstream when the police test you. Thank me later!

Not much need for a demo for Cascade - every function gets a footnote explainer as soon as you touch it, but I might do a spoken vid anyway cos I love Yuri's work!

I have 3 of the UA apps. I do love them too, but I find the interface for Cascade much more intuitive. And the sound seems a little more complex and lush to me.

    Good vid.

    Whats the metalic resonator-ish sound?

    A sound through reverb?

Have you been following recent threads brother? The word lush is verboten here. 😂 But yes, lush it is! Silo is definitely a harder sound. They both have their place, but I love the clear, smooth richness of the Cascade sound. Delectable!

No, I have not been following the threads much. I’ve found too much time in these threads is bad for my mental health. ;)

    What’s wrong with lush?

Ok, how about the sound of Cascade is a little more luxuriant, sensuous, and sumptuous? Lol ;)

I also think ‘lush’ is fine, some don’t lol. The latter 3 adjectives I think (hope!) no one will have an issue with. And yes - this place can definitely be bad for one’s mental health. Stay sane brother!
