  • hey @Gavinski !

i think i’ve looked almost everywhere trying to find out what decent sampler sound bank you’re using… but for the life of me i can’t find it. i’m sure it’s right infront of my face but i’ve looked through your description, yt comments, and forum posts but still no mention :( i’d love to know that plucky goodness!

This had me wondering yesterday too.
Well, less DS and more what generator was driving it. Was it Fugue? Or Drambo or Cyckle with some random trig conditions?

i think he is using a new unreleased clem clay app called “ Binarhythmic” which you can find the beta here on audiobus

Yes you are, it’s very good !

Does sound it. My only concern when I get new apps is it can sometimes make previous purchases redundant - I think Alteza I bought a few days ago is safe, not so sure about my 97 other reverbs though…

I’ve got quite a lot of reverbs and Cascade fits in nicely but won’t make anything I have obsolete. They have have their place, imo.

That’s a great app. Been having fun with it.

  • Is Cascade ok always on a send ( trivial )

Will probably buy anyway as I never bought Alteza.

    Always just use TB.

Yeah this was Stella by Venus Theory, the free pack. Love it! I'll add that info to the pinned comment 👍

  • And yes was using binarhythmic - just message @cem_olcay if you want to be added to the beta, great new take on generative sequencing

  • At first I read this as “mellow twerking demo”. I have to admit, I’m a little disappointed that I don’t get to find out what mellow twerking is.

No no read again - it says 'miley twerking demo' 🤪

Yeah - literally the other day after someone mentioned it in the YT comments, I said the bugs seemed to be better. What happened an hour later? Opened up an previously saved AUM session which had a mere single instance of Decent Sampler in it - with the free Stella pack funnily enough, and what did I find? - the old DS opening completely dead bug. This on a very powerful iPad with tons of RAM and space etc, and in an AUM session where that DS instance was the only Audio generator and the DSP didn’t go above about 30% . It’s madness that that app is still this unreliable after, what, 2 years now?!!!

    lol yeah man…

i somehow was able to play a live show with a couple of ds instances in each session but they straight up had the red icon of death each time i opened a different session. freaked out for a second while the audience was watching and had to restart. it worked out but mannnnnn. unreliable :\

  • Found a very good reverb plugin after a long time... :)

Thank you guys so much for all the positive feedback and support!

Just a small reminder: if you dig an app please take a minute to write an App Store review. I mean recall all apps that you've recently enjoyed and review them all :)
(We've only got two for Cascade so far ;) )

Compliments, I love this reverb and currently working on a whole bunch of user presets. I just wrote a highly recommended review in the App Store!

Aha,thanks. I remember seeing the Binarhythmic thread title but never clicked cause I thought it was just the binaural enthusiasts geeking out.

If you freeze a chord, will the reverb effect (affect?) the future note you play without releasing your chord that has been frozen? Am I clear?

  • edited May 2023

My goal is to jam with my guitar. No freeze option does that on iOS.

You play Am. You freeze the chord and you jam. With all others app, the freeze will always freeze the last note I played (and then, I will lose my Am chord) OR cut the input signal.

You can freeze a chord, and the dry signal will still be coming through, albeit with no reverb applied. Having both 'frozen' and 'normal' reverbs working simultaneously would require two identical structures in parallel.

If I understood you correctly, you can achieve this using two instances in parallel or in series. I think the latter would be the easiest to set up:
    Instance #1: 'normal' reverb
Instance #2: used exclusively for freeze effect. Mix would be at 0% normally, and then you can map a control to simultaneously enable freeze and turn up the mix.

Thank you Yuri! I'm a big fan of yours apps. Cascade was the only app I did not have from you. I will correct the situation tonight.

Yes, that will do it. My goal is to jam with my guitar. I often like to jam on a chord. I freeze a chord with the reverb and solo over it.

I bought it and I really like it. Sounds great, easy to use, small price, 5 stars.
