Unfortunately that would mean I’m out, I just don’t have the space and it’d mean losing too much important stuff.
I wish some app developers would stop bundling additional IAP content in with their base apps, and make it an optional download instead. A number of my apps seem to bloat up in size every time they announce a new ‘soundpack’ update.
It's sample based
It has a lot of samples! That's why. Excellent samples. This is the part where I feel really glad I got a 2TB ipad lol
Hainbach crafted hundreds of recordings of rare vintage measurement and tape equipment, analog synths, strange field recordings, electro-acoustic and magnetic field experiments. (quote from their website ) Interesting stuff.
I guess it's because it contains a shedload of sampled content...
It would make sense for them to make the store version the basic one, with maybe a starter pack, and have the rest of the samples as downloadable. Just have to wait and see.
I understand better now. Such a bank is highly valable for what I do.
You will be able to download all / none or any of the included banks - so take your pick!
That’s really good news: thanks, Gav!
Excellent, so I can download the essentials and use it with my own stuff, then grab the rest when I eventually get a better ipad.
Here’s examples of the soundbanks from the man himself
And without wanting to blow my own trumpet this is a track I made just with noises and some effects
Fantastic video @sevenape ! 🙌🙌🙌👏👏👏
Yeah, nice noises. Thanks for the demo.
Agreed. I wanted it on iOS as soon as it was announced for desktop. So happy it’s finally coming.
+1!
Thanks so much everyone!!! as I said earlier, the fun of noises really comes when you add your own samples
Do you have an idea when Noise for iOS will be in the Apple AppStore?
@ninobeatz said this week, so I presume Friday afternoon!?
Thanks
I was so torn when upgrading my 2018 basic to the new M2 Pro last year: do I go for more ram and a “lesser” mode (ie an Air) or go all out for the fanciest new one but compromise with less storage (no way I could land two grand on the 2TB)? As it was I went for the 128 12.9” Pro as I wanted to be as future-proofed as possible. I can always get a an external SSD on a deal if I really have to, and so far 128 has been more than enough for my storage needs
god this is so good, this is everything i’ve been wanting to make
Thank you so so much!! You will see! It makes amazing ahem soundscapes!
AudioThing better step up their release schedule now that Logic Pro is coming to iOS…
And pricing too as intro I will say, but after all there are alone in a very nice market on Music. Now for many guys the question is more wait and see rather than insta buy.
Personally I make a pause in my iOS app buying waiting to feel more what will change . No hurry.
It will have a huge impact on all music and video production, pricing , many apps can become not useful, many ??? And I prefer to be wise. I got all good synth on iOS no need to buy more. I have iOS effects that are included in LP no need to buy new FX now.
Releasing tomorrow!!
Not in a hurry with the breaking new I will not buy new apps , time to see in what direction it goes for iOS Apps now.
Just after the communication of Apple not the best time to release but it was planned.
I agree but it was submitted already
Nothing in Logic Pro remotely similar to Noises. Highly anticipated release, I’m sure it will sell well
Just imagine the fun to be had, hosting this and other experimental apps in Logic, and setting up layers of complex automation….
