    Ah ok…maybe I will lose a few existing apps first then…

    It's tricky to tell exactly how much space the banks need - Noises doesn't have its own storage allocation in the iPad settings but there's one for 'AudioThing Ltd' which is using 1.68 GB. I'm guessing this may also have data from the their other apps I've installed.

    My bad - Noises is showing 127.6 MB on its own...

    So to be clear, to have the full experience I need 1.5gig free? Also how is this on cpu, I imagine quite light being sample based? I really want to buy it just trying to figure if I am even be able to use it on my ancient air2

    1 instance uses 12% in aum on my iPad mini 6.

    But remember you can demo the sounds in every pack, you can delete any packs you don't want etc

    Yeah. I’ve made space anyway, though there’s bugger all room for Logic now!

    I’m looking forward to the vids, as I’m more interested in what it can do to my own samples, as well as it’s own sample banks.

    Managed to clear 1.5 GB for the whole shebang by the simple process of offloading GarageBand. Yay! I had no idea the GarageBand was so huge! I never use the thing on my iDevices, only had it cos It’s free and I thought it might come in handy at some point. Noises will get used, at least.

    And it’s wild. Love it, and after watching Doug’s demo this evening it looks really straightforward making packs for it.

    After some hours with it using it it as standalone is really easy and great app. Very unique and at this price worth any penny. May 2023 so many great apps like Hilda, Noise,"………and the game changer from Apple.

    It was good that Doug, I’ve trawled through all the previous vids but that was the clearest explanation for how to setup a user bank.

    I’m still on the fence, mind, but I’m on it fully informed!

    there are lossy and lossless compression methods ... plenty...
    dunno why any coder would like to give noisy sounds in wav format :)
    silly ... (I wont get it because of space crysis on ipad...)

    What format would you have used? They actually seem to be flac, at least a couple of packs I checked yesterday were

    Haven’t taken the plunge yet… still wondering what it adds to what I already have. E.g., I could load up and sequence 6 or 7 samples in Koala, create a sequence, mess with the pitches, run it through Wires….

    Anyone else experiencing this - whatever preset i try, the crossfade setting seems to make no difference. Take a preset, change the settings to zero crossfade, change it to any other setting, 20 seconds, whatever, it all sounds the same!

    I delete à not very good app taking 3 GB and downloaded all the banks (1,6 GB)
