is 4 supposed to replace 3?
For now it's more 'complementary' until Mela 4 gets full polyphony support.
So one doesn't replace the other.

I didn't put the file on iCloud for sharing that was @Nikolozi 's decision
Usually it's enough to let the device you use stay logged in to your iCloud account...
Is that what you are seeing on the iPad? I just assumed it would give the download button to everyone. This is from the Brave browser for example. With "Download a Copy" you don't need to sign in with your Apple ID.
Anyway, I'll host all preset downloads on GitHub instead.
Sorry to ask again is 4 a replacement to 3? when 4 has poly will it have everything 3 has?
On Nikolozi’s website he explains that in order for him to fulfill some of the user requests for Mela 3 he had to rebuild the architecture of the plugin to meet those requests. This has brought us to Mela 4. Here is a link with a description of what has changed and his vision for Mela 4’s future.

If you just sign out of iCloud.com first, then you can download anonymously.
I will note Mela 3 has been one of my most-used, favorite synths. Unmatched quality of sound for producing otherworldly, rumbling and screaming leads.
Go to iCloud.com using your web browser and sign out. Don't sign out elsewhere. You must've signed in online and then forgotten about it. Doing it this way won't change anything. If it's important that you remain signed in continually online for some reason, then after you download the file just sign back in.
Did you also try it with 'Private' mode?
