Well, it’s not like Apple is the biggest company in the world or anything like that.
You have to force quit by swiping up, then you can actually open the app

Alchemy appears to be limited in the amount of editing you can do
But minor detail. Still a ton of controls.

Bummer, multi sampler is only a playback device on iPad, and it looks like we don't get the full Alchemy interface. On the plus, side, we get all the E* synths!
Edit: as I suspected, Ultrabeat did not make the cut
Full Sampler is there, but no edit functionality - just for compatibility
