    Quick sampler is very complete with full controls and Sample Alchemy gives you a good mix of controls missing from Alchemy. Whew.

    Ok, I don’t want to derail bram thread so I’ll ask here, can anyone load Hilda up and tell us if you can assign the live pads to a MIDI controller knob ? Is the MIDI learn/map as robust as dRambo parameter ?

    Shame on both counts. Ultrabeat is fantastic. Perhaps they just thought the new audience would hate it in its current form, and will perhaps make an appearance in future.

    Anyway...looks like I shouldn't have felt bad for being a Debbie-Downer with my speculation that whatever this would be, it would not be the feature-equivalent of Logic Pro, and therefore not really Logic Pro. Still, no vindication and no gloating. Still very interested.

    Now I just have to wipe my iPad, update and jump in :)

    Thanks! But does that then become a usable 4-part patch in 'standard 'Alchemy', that can be used with the desktop version? (That's a rhetorical question, as I doubt you've had any time to really explore it)

    Is Sample Alchemy what I suspected it was from the screenshot (ie. essentially a new version of Samplr within Logic Pro)?

    Yep Sculpture is 100%.

    Marker tracks are there, along with Time Signature, Key Signature, and Tempo tracks. Unfortunately no arranger track and no shared regions/region aliases.

    Presumably, time-sigs can be changed as with the 'REAL' Logic Pro ;)
