XinematiX 1.1 released with 7 day demo and iPhone support
Hi all,
we just released version 1.1 of XinematiX. We finally managed to get our own server making it possible for us to offer you a free 7 days demo access to any of the 62 sound libraries ( stand alone app ).
We've also added iPhone compatibility and a few minor changes. The AU user interface was optimised to better work with Logic Pro.
The Sound browser can now be restricted to show only the sounds of libraries bought/demoed to make the experience much less confusing than with the first version.
Have also a look at our new videos with XinematiX played on the Expression E Osmose keyboard and the Seaboard Rise to show off some of it's MPE capabilities too:

Says it’s not compatible with my device. iPhone 13 Pro max
This link is broken too - https://www.virsyn.net/ios/xinematix...
If you take the 3 dots off the end it's OK - https://www.virsyn.net/ios/xinematix
Should work on any iPhone with iOS 12 or newer. Just try again, sometimes the App Store needs a bit of time after an update to have the correct info.
Glad you guys made this update, a sensible idea indeed!
Cool! I’ve been thinking about purchasing the Voice & Choir pack. Now I can try before I buy! Thanks @VirSyn !
I took 2 attempts to demo “Vocal and Choir” and it failed to install after a lengthy download period (a few minutes). This reminds me of the Crudebytes experience with very large sample IAPs.
Has anyone found a way to get the app to disclose pricing of various packs?
I’m glad this app is being worked on to make it better… I’d like to see built-in audio demos similar to the way BeatHawk does it. I think I’d like some of these packs but I just need to prioritise my purchases.
Just tried Vocal & Choir here and it's about 40 seconds for download and a couple of seconds for install ( the size is 500 MB ).
From which region are you downloading ?
It's also strange that you don't see the pricing. In the Sample Store list you should see the price in your currency right below the Library name in a smaller font. How does this look for you?
Anyone else here experiencing download/install problems ?
All is good here. Now it's going to be hard not to succumb to temptation. Some presets are reaaaaally good…
California US. Let’s just assume my internet is slow… I’ve seen other evidence that my provider is not giving me decent performnace.
The app doesn’t disclose the price until after you commit to the trial period and it installs successfully. I think you should request KA to reduce their prices or create bundles with more samples. $10 for 10 choir samples of which 3 sound almost identical annd 4 more are too similar isn’t moving me to buy at this point. I’ve experienced this type of packaging with iSymphonic and quickly gave up trying to acquire a decent collection … quickly probably means $100 just to make an orchestra
And not getting more than 1/2 way there. I ended up opting for Staffpad and have purchased over $600 of their sample sets because the value is there to write complete orchestral scores. But the packaging has to be complete and demonstrate value.
These $10-20 packs with a handful of sounds is not going to win a large user community.
Yep works now! I’ll check it out. Love Terra really great btw!
why don't make those work in audiolayer?
To keep the sounds from being exported / shared and hence ensure the preset designers and dev get paid for their work? Pretty obvious, and fair enough, no?
Thank you for adding a trial 🙏 I’m really interested in quite a handful of the packs but really wanted to be able to give them a try first. Can’t wait until I’m off work now 😎
All demos downloading without issue here.
This is really special. Thanks for listening to requests/concerns.
Thank you for your feedback!
Just for my statistics - from which region have you downloaded?
You nailed it. Couldn't have explained it better.
They might as well give them away free in that case lol I’m not surprised that doesn’t work and I don’t blame them at all.
How can I transfer my presets from iPad to iPhone
I exported to a zip I try with air drop but Xinematix wasn’t in the choice apps I rebooted both devices
I stored the zip in audioshare Folder and then copied the zip on the import sub folder ox Xinematix
I unzipped the file but still no luck has anybody managed to transfer presets from iPad to iPhone or another iPad ??
Thank you
I’m in the US. Northern Illinois near Chicago.
Does anyone know if the 7-day demo is per IAP? I don't want to trigger the demo period if it applies to all packs at once as I don't have time at the moment to review them all.
You can demo them one by one if you want, or all together, whatever suits. > @MisplacedDevelopment said:
Nice horns and choirs @VirSyn
Did you get the private message I sent you mate?
Thanks!
Good to know for sure.
Love how you can blend presets on the fly using the mod wheel on your controller.
Swore I wasn’t going to buy another synth ever.
Until @VirSyn released one of course.
iPhone support sweet!
how many excellently sound librarys are out there already.
i don't get the point of this.
well, i get the point of the developer.
