Does anyone know if the 7-day demo is per IAP? I don't want to trigger the demo period if it applies to all packs at once as I don't have time at the moment to review them all.

    Thanks!

    Good to know for sure.
Love how you can blend presets on the fly using the mod wheel on your controller.
Swore I wasn’t going to buy another synth ever.
Until @VirSyn released one of course.

    Not a synth, though, it's a rompler!

I figured I’d get called on that but I couldn’t bother to edit. Damn Gav you’re on it.

i don't get the point of this.
well, i get the point of the developer.

You don’t know a shit here!

Sure, there’s some on this platform, BUT, NOT in this quality category…
This is pure joy with very high quality instruments/samples…

There are 62 sound libraries with around 990 multi samples.
And if you don't get the point you don't need it ;-)

How can I transfer my presets from iPad to iPhone
I exported to a zip I try with air drop but Xinematix wasn’t in the choice apps I rebooted both devices
I stored the zip in audioshare Folder and then copied the zip on the import sub folder ox Xinematix
I unzipped the file but still no luck has anybody managed to transfer presets from iPad to iPhone or another iPad ??
    Thank you

Worked here. But I know that sometimes devices have problems "forgetting" some apps and then for a sudden they reappear.
I will add a special file extension for transferring Multi sound zip files, this should fix it for all who have problems with it.

Exactly. I don’t have the funds right now but there are a couple I’m eyeing as there’s nothing quite of this sound quality on iOS.

  • I’m trying to get the demos to work but so far no luck. At first they wouldn’t show up at all. I reinstalled and they showed up but no sound. I haven’t tried a midi controller yet, but the onscreen keyboard plays no sound with the demos. I noticed that they won’t show up on the AUv3 still, which I’m guessing could be the intentional? But also now where there was the demo button stand alone there is nothing there. Do I have to wait until the trial is over to see the price or to purchase it? Or is this a bug? From what I’ve gathered and read it all does seem very pricey but I might be willing to spend some money on some quality choirs and pianos even at that price point. But so far I haven’t had any luck :(

Are they not showing up on the main screen either? Pretty sure they don’t show up as an AU on purpose.

i don't get the point of this.
well, i get the point of the developer.

It's one of the most expansive (and expensive lol) romplers on iPad and now iPhone. The point is to have a load of top-quality sounds easily available at your fingertips. When I'm making beats and such, I want to have a quality library of sounds instantly available to me.

Beathawk is a bit fiddly in AUv3 mode (have to start a new project in order to load a sound), Module Pro is okay, PSP2 has a bit of a clunky interface (especially on a Mini 6) despite its sounds being top caliber, and yet XinematiX is very easy for me.

That said, I honestly wish I had the money to afford all the IAPs outright (as I'm a GAS-driven completionist 🤣), but I'm kind of hoping @VirSyn will add an optional monthly subscription for instant full access to all of the sound libraries at once. That way, anti-subbers can pick and choose that which they wish to purchase, and GAS-aholic completionists like me can get it all at once without having to drop 1100 quid. 😆 I'd be willing to put forth $20/month to use XinematiX in NS2 and Logic Pro, and I can still write it off on taxes. 😉 Cheers.

Please also add batch import ability to Tera Pro, as I am still completely unable to load the cymatics preset bank Harry due to it not ever showing up as a destination. This has caused me and some others a lot of wasted time already. Until apple fix the files system, every single ios app should have its own internal system for batch import and export, cheers

I’m not a fan of subscriptions but I’d probably pay a sub for this as well. I’m curious what the full storage for all packs would be though. Didn’t someone say like 20 gb somewhere in the thread? I’m doing a demo of a couple of packs right now and it does sound absolutely amazing. I can understand the price now.

I think I remember offhand it was maybe 13 but can’t remember for sure. I think a sub offering might be unlikely as ppl would expect that to work in the AUv3 and Virsyn may be wary of people wanting to rip some of the samples. Of course that’s impossible to avoid if someone is determined to do it, but much more hassle if someone needs to screen record etc to do it!

Yeah, ripping samples. Doing it one at a time with screenrecord and Koala, only to load them all in AudioLayer or Obsidian, set the loops, etc, and export a patch. 😆 Who on Earth would ever have the time to be faffed with such a chore? I just want my sounds now darn it. 😂

Oof. In that case I probably wouldn’t buy more than 2-3 sound packs. Initial install is already 2 GB. 2-3 more packs will probably put you at 4-5. That’s a hefty load.

13gb? I thought it was closer to around 30gb. Only @VirSyn (or someone with deep pockets) will already know, lol.

I was also thinking 30 first, but then I thought maybe I was confusing it with Logic. Anyway, I just checked and it is indeed 30 GB

Oof. In that case I probably wouldn’t buy more than 2-3 sound packs. Initial install is already 2 GB. 2-3 more packs will probably put you at 4-5. That’s a hefty load.

Hopefully a good sign that a decent number of round robins were used?

i don't get the point of this.
well, i get the point of the developer.

😉 Cheers.

About the same as PSP2. :) I'd probably have to choose between PSP2 and XinematiX on my Mini 6 (only 256gb space to work with), though I can fit both on my M1 Pro easily.

I certainly wouldn’t but I can definitely believe there are some that would, lol

Lol! Never underestimate the power of the human spirit I suppose. 😂🤣 (That comment is meant as wry sarcastic humour.)

I mean, if I really wanted to, I could wait about a year and have AI handle making my own iOS AUv3 plugin, handle making the UI, and handle replicating my own roundrobin multisamples. 😂

Nah mate, I'd rather just support the hard work VirSyn put into XinematiX. If I could buy all IAPs outright I would and then promote the everliving heck out of it while simultaneously releasing music on SoundCloud and Bandcamp to promote on social media by way of explaining what I used (one of my long overdrawn explanations). But alas, not even my budgeting abilities can get me 1100 quid off the jump, and it'd probably take a couple years for me to acquire all IAPs. 😂 Hence why I suggested an optional subscription for folks like me who are on a smaller budget.

Didn’t realize PSP2 took that much storage for the whole shebang. I only have the free stuff, the factory sounds bundle, and Bassalicious. Even with just those it’s one of my favorite and most used. How is their Upright and Creatmosphere packs? Those and the 8-bit are the ones I’m interested in.

Haha fair enough. Im hoping there will be a sale soon. I’m saving up another week or 2 to buy Pianoteq so unless there’s an amazing sale or something I HAVE to have, I’m not buying any apps or IAPs for a little while 😂 I just bought the fabfilter creative effects bundle too so yeah I need to chill 😂

😉 Cheers.

13gb? I thought it was closer to around 30gb. Only @VirSyn (or someone with deep pockets) will already know, lol.

I was also thinking 30 first, but then I thought maybe I was confusing it with Logic. Anyway, I just checked and it is indeed 30 GB

Dude, need you even ask? ;) They're flawless mate!

Dude yeah chill man! 🤣 What the heck? LOL!
