Love all these different versions! It is great to hear alternatives to an original track that all add something in their own way. I may even have a go myself!
...and here is my version! I no longer have my pro Soundcloud account and can't upload anything so I put it on my Youtube channel (hope you don't mind @pbelgium ?)
I added Roots drum kit via midi keyboard, vintage Wurlitzer electric piano and Tenor Sax all from Logic Pro on my Mac, trying to maintain a laid back jazzy vibe.
@AlterEgo_UK Nice!
Thanks @pbelgium - glad you like it!
What a thread!
the original recording sounds really good, little variations and subtle play over what might sound like a simple loop makes for a surprisingly enticing track.
Then @Paulieworld gets in with an arrangement that suits perfectly the mood.
@GeoTony 's solo over the guitar manages to enhance the mood a little more.
@pbelgium 's solo demonstrates a totally different mood can be done. The recording is pretty good too.
@AlterEgo_UK is killing it.
Can't wait to ear the next iteration.
totally agree; enjoying everyone's tracks. That original guitar riff was very fertile indeed!
Thanks for listening @jo92346 @Stochastically - maybe more to come soon.
Really great collaboration happened here, pure gold. Please continue.
And for the initial @pbelgium version of Anima, it’s calling me back every now and then. I’m a huge fan. This song has similar energy like what Neil Young did for a ‘Dead Man’.
