OSC Audio is also bringing sumFX to iOS!! Release window is unknown at this time but….if you’re a desktop user and would like to get this at $10 intro price, you can find it here:

    I don’t see any info about iOS…

I think Nino's mention of intro price might be a bit confusing. Basically, the desktop app is on sale now for 10 bucks, and an ios version will also be released soon. I'd imagine the ios app will require a separate purchase, as is the norm.

Gotcha. Excited to hear more 👂

  • Look for an iOS release next week

  • They’ve been rolling in and I loved it

  • Nice! Excited for this one

    Hell yeah 😎 looks great!

  • A few presets to start with would not have hurt. Not one bit!
Might be pretty heavy on the CPU, depending on the build of course but I came to three slots when the despised sparkles started in AUM, I did use an already heavy project so. I'll start clean, see what gives😬

  • Sound demo preview in the appstore is not working, no audio.

  • The dev mentioned something about needing to actually install a folder of presets in the files system and said he would provide instructions upon release. Is there nothing about it in the appstore description etc? Nice dev, by the way, so I'm sure he'll get back to you if you contact him

There's supposed to be 50 (25+25) presets I read now. but they are not in the folders created by the app as far as I can figure out, only a default of each type.

Edit: I have written the dev about it.

That's right - the install creates a folder but you need to download the zip and install the presets yourself. I told the dev this would likely cause a lot of confusion and problems. 🤷‍♂️

There's only a Gumroad page and I can't see a download link there. Do you have the link (I know, you would have posted it if you did but, I have to ask)

Edit: I found it, following the link from the store to the dev site: oscaudio.netlify.app instead of using google.

  • OK good - I thought there must be a link on the store - the dev is clearly not aware that many people don’t even read appstore descriptions carefully - huge likelihood of people asking for refunds on this because of this kind of thing. Anyway, I zipped up the manual and presets etc just now so will stick them here.

This is what the dev mentioned about it in an email to me:

The presets are to be stored in your app's folder. This is created on first launch. The folder will be inside the files on your local device. Once inside this folder you will see Slot Preset and Chain Preset folders to start storing your ideas.

Apple makes things a bit tricky to get the presets into the app and I didn't want to bloat the file size too much for mobile users on cell connections, so I'm going to be distributing the presets via a link with an FAQ to educate users how to use and transfer them

There is no info on the store just a claim that 50 presets are included so not only they'd assume that people read but also that they are clairvoyant. ;)

  • So how it sounds and feels? :)

  • Ah, I see... No mention on the store that you need to go to the site to get the info needed to get the presets... Wow
