I think we will all concur that Svetlovska is the ABF master of this unique art form.

Thx everyone for making this a fun thread. Maybe others who have good stuff they don’t use will follow suit.

I was ready to cry slander until I looked at my first post in this thread:

If you win, you should download the windows or Mac software to change the default configuration. There’s a manual on that page that will document the default settings so you might not need a laptop/desktop system to change the default assigned CC’s. I’m glad the support site is still active because I also have a ring and don’t do much live playing that need these extra controls.

By “live” I didn’t intend to mean before an audience… I meant hit record and play like Mike did on 100 albums. My current experiments are almost exclusively MIDI generated or pencil entries into Staffpad. I like generators that export MIDI files to import into StaffPad to skip that pencil labor and to show others that Staffpad renders better than a dozen apps in a DAW for cinematic creations. No takers so far.

Anyway I respect @Svetlovska for deciding that she wouldn’t use it for her creations. So, she won… and so did Jeff.

Yes. Please clarify if you cover the prize or are just being creative. I have another ring but shipping it to Japan would give me pause… or paws if that curse is still active.

This should go to someone that plays live and wants CC control that look magical to the audience for example. Like you’re conducting ambient textures with hand waving. Compline’s with additional tech like those apps that use the camera or the accelerometer or iOS tilt detection.

Hands move. Music responds. Sonic spells.
