Hello ! is it possible to do midi learn?

I second this question. I’m using in Logic Pro on iPad and would love to be able to modulate with an LFO.

You can use Logic’s LFO midi fx to do this. Select the plugin parameter you want to control directly from the LFO plugin.

If you want to control multiple parameters from a single LFO, you can use the script linked here to target multiple parameters. Output a midi cc from the LFO then convert that cc to whatever plugin parameters you want (including any plugin in the current channel):

after purchase, almost all parameters are mappable via midi

  • Wow, I am having so much fun with blip box, I knew I should have gotten it before now.

I have all of the iOS drum apps, and find blip box to be a legit alternative to FAC and at 4.99 rn? Yes, please.

Works great with OCTACHRON and your favorite shaper.

Get it before 09/08/24 to get it for half off!

Blib is great, but I am missing a panning per voice function. I hope the devs will implement this in the future.

Let me see if I can contact the developer about this.

edit* just did, will let you know if I get an answer.

  • Only using blip because you cant use 10 + fac drum.

Why cant it just be like fac drum though.

Where midi dosent switch the screens ( set focus seems either hit or miss )

Cant see a scenrio where the screens switching is a plus.

If you want to tweak a track parameters.

You should just choose the track etc ( like fac drum )

May have to delete this nightmare and just use a few drambo modules ( for maybe toms )

but would have liked to have gained the 16 sounds of the au's ( per track )

  • Its the most stupid desicion im afraid.

There isnt a scenario where midi would be best to keep triggering screens

( I guess its where the tracks are also triggers )

Fac either has a pad screen.

but more importantly just an audition pad for the track you are on.

So the track buttons arnt even triggers and you can just choose the track you wish to tweak.

  • Doubt dev will read.

You made a mistake by adding triggers on the app and having to set focus.

I doubt I can get used to setting focus, as it either dont work or the way Im needing to design and sequence would be too nutty.

Should have just kept it same as fac drum.

    This is all fac drums.

Which is fine because I can make it fm etc.

So dont really need blip for quirkyness but an au is prone to crash ( after 10 au )

Adding blip would offest the au amount but cant use because of issue described.

    Hopefully fac dosent crash.

  • This instrument is siiiick! Just grabbed it and running it thru doctor vibe!

I wish it had more presets for kicks and hats….
Anyone wanna share some with me 🫠 I’ll gladly accept haha

  • This reminds me a lot of my volca drum. A great device as well

  • @rygrob have you ever considered adding a randomizer to each sound 🙏

I really think this would be fun to have like on the volca drum randomizer.. makes some crazy ish!

  • I really like Blip Box, such a powerful thing you can tweak the hell out of it. But I usually use it for a couple of sounds (kick/rumble) or sample the sounds and take it into Sitala. Blip Box definitely needs a pan option for the individual sounds as well as setting the levels. This would open it up so much more than just the mono unit as it is right now. It’s not the best choice if you want to make a realistic clap sound but you can’t have it all. Its great for lots of percussion stuff, and hopefully the devs will implement the options in the future. I had unfortunately no response from them on these feature requests a while back. Maybe others could give it a shot? The more requests the better :)

It could definitely do with pan. I use multiple instances of it (and other drum synths) rather than use multiple outputs as that's how I've always done it and prefer it that way.. it's much quicker to set up. I also like having separate regions for different parts of the kit... I might have a four bar BD/SD with a three bar hi hat patter for example.
