If you were referring to my use of the word "impossible", I was stating that the developer of EG Nodes can't do anything to correct Koala's remapping issue, which is the root problem. The proposed two-mappings workaround is a good one.
Yes!
Agreed! Cheers @ElliottGarage!
Big things coming?!
EgNodes-The space of musical comfort😁
Someone has such a problem when switching from the keyboard to the plug-in, when the keys are pressed, they switch to hold mode and after that they constantly light up in red. Even if you squeeze them out.
you kinda find a hidden feature I'm fixing the buttons color
Of course it's cool🔥😁But I suspect that even you didn't know about it.😉
I wouldn't have known about it... If only... It was very inconvenient to switch between the keyboard and the plugin to change the preset. Switching over, I saw this miracle😁
And sometimes it crashes. It is unclear why. Even with a single Node.
it crashes switching from keyboard to AU interface?
It happened once when switching. The application was simply closed two or three times. I can't remember exactly which plugins were opened. But the load was small. That is, not ten Moogs have been opened.
I hope there is a sale on this I would love to try it!
EG Nodes MIX GROUP …coming soon!
Yay!
Q-Can I use the Animoog keyboard as a midi source? I tried everything in routing and did not get a result. In Aum, it works without problems (Animoog is not like midifx) but like Audiounit. Other instruments are controlled by his keyboard. I can't do that in EgNodes. Can someone tell me if this is possible or if something is wrong in the settings?
Currently MIDI out from AU instrument is used only to record into the piano roll, but I just added the routing to another instrument in the project using the internal routing. It will be included in the next update
Great, thanks. I thought I was setting it up incorrectly.
All day long!
It would be nice if at least some of the MPE parameters could be written to the Pianoroll Node. Otherwise, it turns out a strange situation-synthesizers with MPE exist, but it is impossible to record MPE in full.
EG Nodes Piano Roll ghost reference layer …coming soon!
Nice!
That’s actually a very useful feature I wish more apps had.
Helium and Atom2 both have it. But yes more apps would be better.
Sorry, maybe I'm stupid, but where is the "REC" button? Or can the sequences be inserted only with piano roll???
No, you are right! Only the piano roll node has a “REC” button!
Ghost node!
@ElliottGarage I am experiencing a weird volume drop on a node when I add a second node and play. It’s almost like there is a compressor or limiter being applied to the master out. Here is my repo steps. Add Sitala to a rhythm node put in a simple pattern and start playback. Add a second piano role node with a synth (DRC or Model D in my case). Play a few notes on the keyboard of the synth. The volume of the drum track drops. If I don’t play anything more from the synth, the volume of Sitala slowly returns to normal. This occurs with only EG nodes running and the output set to built in speaker or headphone through the Apple USB adapter. I’m really surprised it hasn’t been mentioned before because it’s 100% reproducible for me. Just tried with hammerhead instead of Sitala, same behavior. If this is a feature to avoid clipping it would be nice to be able to disable or control it. Thanks for looking into this.
v1.0.15 is out!!
Love the way the bussing/submixing feature is implemented. Intuitive and non-intrusive! Cheers to the dev and people who asked for this feature!
