Also, for in contact with the dev and apparently the wavs have to be in the correct format. Mine was 48 kHz and not the apps native 44.1 kHz. Haven’t had a chance to convert a sample and try it yet but keep that in mind for anyone attempting.

That’s what I mean. The limitations compared to other loop mixing app options holds me back from using it seriously.

For serious live performance where everything lines up with everything else I do live (AUv3, Ableton Link/MIDI clock sync, midi mapping to external controllers, automation) I use Loopmixer.

I bought Amen Break Generator to support the dev and perhaps see improvements down the road.

It is a fun little app though, as is.

Gotcha. Yeah Loopmix is really great. I’m happy with my current options as well but also bought to support the dev. And the app is cool. Using the effects, reverse, and freeze during recording for your loop can lead to some cool drum loops for export.

Definitely not live though I agree. Unless you’re just jamming over some breaks lol

so, this app opens on dekstop mac M1, but where the file is saved????

anyone have any idea where it could be ? is there a way to access "files" on desktop

Looks like nobody answered this. I just downloaded it on my Mac. But I can't find the files either. I can find no new files created even though I clicked REC. Searched whole computer. What's up with that?

EDIT: see my reply below for an update.

    UPDATE to previous comment.

Ok, I found the WAV files on my Mac. They are VERY HIDDEN. The "very long code" in the path below is something generated by the app I guess, lots of letters and numbers. Talk about user-unfriendly.

    /Users/[userid]/Library/Containers/[some very long code]/Data/Documents/

The WAV files look like "Recording 2024-03-04 02.06.35.wav"

If that doesn't work, use the app to record something for a few seconds, then use Finder to recursively search your Library folder for a file with a name that starts with "Recording" and ends with ".wav"
