Stability issues, at least in AUM. First time using it, controls were all frozen after trying to load a preset. Quit AUM, loaded it standalone, exercised a few gestures, quit that, then it worked in AUM… until I minimized AUM to do something else. When I came back, it had crashed.
And yeah, the UI is really, really bad. Is it possibly smaller and worse than even their previous apps?
Hopefully we see updates.
I agree, unfortunately, that my patience for these kinds of UIs is wearing thin, even on the largest ipad, which is all I use now. It's not the worst example of a desktop port that's not really designed for iOS, but it's certainly extemely far from ideal.
I’ve been playing with it on desktop quite a lot. I rate it highly for the results you get from it and obviously the GUI’s ok over there
Yeah i absolutely love their apps and use them a lot but the tiny text is getting old.
I know, trust me I know this, and you are right. My original statement is in no way about the current iOS music app economic situation for developers. This is just me thinking out loud, trying to justify the purchase of this app, by comparing it to other apps at a similar price point, and weighing the decision out loud. I think chordjam is the same price and can do much more, generally speaking. That said… I really, really want this app, but there’s others i would love to have too. I did get a few of them this past BF, so Freezer has moved high up on my list. I will just have to wait a little longer until im able to swing it. I have every AM app, including playbeat 2 & 3. This was simply a case of me going through my purchasing decision in text form. Cheers.
