That preset “Some of them Shine, Some of them don’t” is the most fun I have had in some time. Feed it about 6-7 notes and start mangling through effects. Ive been jamming with this app all day today. Probably my favorite app out this year.
Would be nice if you tap on Pattern, it explodes into a Phase Arp type thing, you can easily program in your own patterns…. And ‘Performance’ page Automation for AUM, like GR-16..
Beautiful ARP+.. Thanks for making..
Seems one must be gentle with SynthMaster Synths.. looks like it cannot take ‘100%’ of most ‘parameter’ destinations…
I’m loving this app. It’s really fun pointing it at a chopped up breakbeat in Segments
I gotta try this later. Good idea 👍🏻
Recorded a quick electro jam with Poison and Hammerhead for something else but thought I should share it here. Love how easy it is to change patterns on the fly
does it need a midi trigger to run?
In my experience so far, yes.
Yes, it is an arp! You can either use the internal keyboard, or other keyboards, midi from other apps or hardware or whatever.
Is there any way to snap/lock it in trigger sync/beat mode? The dial seems to be continuous, which make it kinda difficultly impossible to use.. had to switch to rozetta which may be simple but at least its reliable..🤣
This is my app of the year.
For what it's worth....
Anyone know why this send a default value of 64 on cc75? And more importantly, how to turn it off? 🤔
Needs some way to record motion on the X-Y pads.
I’m sorry I missed the intro price. This looks like a fun app.
I missed it as well, could not resist. A very nice and straight forward arp app. Bleass has this affinity to provide very friendly UI. Looks nice, sounds even better.
Yes... That would be nice... It should be possible (out of the box)... Groove Rider 16 does it nicely.
Yep, this would rule
Anyone else having problem with stock notes in Cubasis 3? It's happening like 90% of the times and it's pretty frustrating. Seems to happening a bit less in Loopy Pro but I didn't test it a lot.
I guess this is related, for me it’s practically un-usable in Logic with stuck notes and worse, some weird issue that seems to kill midi to the downstream auv3 instrument. (on an M1)
Cubasis was better, but it still feels pretty buggy. It’s lovely to play around in aum though.
I reported this to bleass support and they replied “ Yes, Logic Pro is less stable than we hoped for, but I see they update it regularly! yet we will try to correct this asap”.
I’m sure they’ll have plenty of time to find a fix before the next Logic update 😀
Haven’t tried it in C3 yet but I’m try that tonight and report back if I have any issues. Is it doing it with any certain presets or parameters involved or does it do it no matter what?
Take any midi track (with a AUv3), load Bleass Arp, switch to default preset, click on Sync, press play then stop -> stuck.
I’m not getting stuck notes but I am regularly getting no sound at all. I switch from one preset to another, press some keys on the (built-in) keyboard and nothing happens (?) Could this be to do with the configuration of that preset? I wouldn’t have thought so. I mean, the point of a preset is that it’s ready to go, no?
There’s a fix on the way for the stuck notes / Logic issues. Bleass support got in touch with a test flight link, those issue are resolved for me.
I still have a weird issue where the mod wheel kills midi, but so long as I don’t touch that, I can have fun in Logic now.
This is the mod wheel problem as well as everything else working great!

Good to hear that there's a fix inbound for hanging notes - certainly a big issue for me hosting in Logic.
Frequently getting a crash where it disappears completely then won't relaunch until I've filled it's place with another, random, MIDI FX.
Strangely it doesn't even appear in the Recently Used list, I have go and find it again.
Not a huge deal at all, but anyone know how to change the keyboard settings, so that it defaults to C1 being the octave that appears first? It opens up at the C4 region, which I sometimes use, but not that often.....seems kinda odd to me
Man… This thing was pushed out into the wild waaaaaayyyyyy too early.
@bleassapp Did you guys do ANY testing before you released it?
In about an hour of testing it in AUM, it crashed 5 times. Stopped sending midi data at least 6 times. Seems to happen most when adjusting arp loop count and a few other arp settings.
One thing that has seemed somewhat impressive is how it manages to avoid stuck/hung midi notes out. That’s been the bane of a lot of iOS and vst arp plugins I’ve tried over the years; when you start having complex, fast apps with a lot of overlapping gate spreads you almost always get stuck notes. This arp seems to be able to avoid that. At least when it’s actually working… 🥺
If this was a $1.99 app, it would be less of a big deal, but this is at the upper end of midi effect prices, and as it is now, it absolutely does not deserve that price…
Best email them, I think they very very rarely check here
Dunno if i’m going crazy but the rhythm of the arpeggios just does not sound right?
There’s a weird “skip” or delay on some notes in the arpeggio pattern which messes with the rhythm. I just felt something was off and tried to reduce it to the most simple instance and compare. Using the default preset (disable delay) on the Bleass arp stand alone we can see there is no “skip”. But when using the auv3, hosted either in audiobus or EG Nodes, there is that skip messing up rhythm of the arpeggio. Very annoying because it seems like an issue with the timing of the midi notes it sends out which seems to cause issues with most patterns, because to me they just don’t sound right.
I’m not getting it.. tested in both AUM and Node.. solid here..
It seems inconsistent it comes and goes whenever I tab in/out of the host app, it’s really weird… but you definitely can hear it on the video right?
