No, no, no. There's a new app coming out next week that....
And there's one the week after that makes noises like....![ ](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smiley.png)
This thing is a electro fx machine! Best 2 dollars I’ve ever spent. Great app
🎯
Totally worth $2, don’t think you can get 4billion sounds for less, lol.
Some of the generated sounds have really provocative rhythms to them. I spent about an hour freezing interesting pads and saved them as a bank called "Unique Song Starters".
There are also plenty of excellent sounds that are going to come in handy to power the the space ship I'm building out back. Sources of propulsion this cheap are really hard to come by.
Exactly this! ^
My only complaint is that I cannot tune the individual voices. It’s always chromatic.
There is a mappable Transpose parameter. Does that help at all?
My latest loopy pro template (still very incomplete). Rozeta X0X or Rhythm into Drambo. Each one of those is a separate instance with their own channels and FX filtered to a single midi note. Swipe up and you get an FX menu where you can disable or enable and swipe down to show interface… Swipe right you go to the next random bank, swipe left previous. This is so much dam fun, immediate glitchy, random, wonderfulness! I hope he keeps making these, they are right up my alley.
Recorded a bunch of taps into Gauss at 2x speed and then slowed out down to .5 and reversed it and it got otherworldly. This may end up being a top app of the year for me. What a pleasant surprise.
Switching to the next or previous code using a slow running square wave LFO gives some cool results - works in both FB and RW - the parameters are exposed in AUM...
@enkaytee
Sounds interesting
Will have to try that later
Not sure if this is a Logic or Relic issue but does anyone know why you can't turn Relic snippets into audio using Logic's "Bounce in Place" function?
I would always want to use an app like this for little touches/glitchy sounds. My workflow is always 'get it to audio before something goes wrong and you lose it'
I'm entering a few notes via Logic's keyboard (Relic's pads don't output to midi right?) and recording to a pattern just fine. Bouncing this audio just doesn't work - a silent audio pattern is all I end up with. Any ideas?
A compendium of great ideas on this thread!
How to export more than 1 wav at a time?
Edit: also - when I am on the 3 octave view there are 36 sounds. But hen I open the export window, I only see 8 wav files there to export? All a bit confusing, must be error on my side because I definitely remember it said you could export a set, just don’t see any detailed instructions on how to quickly do so
It creates a folder in Files.app when you save (app folders are usually hidden when they do not contain any files).
AUv3 saves files in it's own sandbox...
Or rather Files.app shows the Relic Waves folder when there's files in it.
How do I meaningfully export files from the AUv3 Samu? How to find them? I go through the export procedure but can’t find the Files anywhere. Also - how to export more than 1 at a time. I am using it as an AUv3 in aum
I experienced this last night. Been racking my brain trying to extract a solution.
I like the old school sounds - less so the obscure and old school export menus. Pretty confusing, to me anyway.
Once you have saved the files inside the AUv3 sand-box, go to Export/Import.
There you have two options, 'Open In...' will give you the share-sheet to send the file to any app, 'System export' will bring up the document picker and you can pick a location to save the file to.
When the file is selected tap ok to continue.
I'll have to check if you can dump folders as well...
If you run in 'stage manager mode' you can enable the Wi-Fi drive and download with a browser running on the same device![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
Thanks Samu - but that seems to export them just as a text file - what then do I do with the text file? This too old skool for me lol, horrible system imo
Just really trying to figure out the fastest way to get all 36 sounds on the screen out into the Files app or to Audioshare
Export to WAV creates *.wav file of current pad, Export to WAVs creates 12 *.wav files.
Once the *.wavs are created they can be exported.
When I do 'System Export' and save a file from the AUv3 sandbox it exports a proper *.wav file.
I'm running iPadOS17.1.2 on the M1 iPadPro...
All very confusing. Did you notice which 12? I wonder why it doesn’t export all 36. Thanks for checking. So you’re saying 1. Choose export to wavs 2. Then choose system export? I wonder why there isn’t just one damn button to quickly dump the whole 36 sounds in an accessible folder on your device? This current system seems highly convoluted. What’s the logic behind it, if there is one, in your opinion?
Because it only creates 12 source samples.
When you show 3 octaves it's just plays the same samples in different octaves.
If you control Relic Waves it over midi you have even more than 36...![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
...the 12 samples are spread across all 127 midi-notes
Ah yeah, true. But ok - I still can’t figure out how to just quickly export 12 samples even - whatever I try, I seem unable to do batch export. Kinda driving me nuts, hate the menu system
Noticed that it's also possible to export full folders...
...first create a folder (call it samples or something).
...save the samples in the folder.
...during export type in the folders name (don't tap it as it will open it) and tap ok and the entire folder is exported...
there really 12 sounds and the onscreen pads trigger them in 3 different octaves I believe.
Create a folder before you save them (check the previous post)

Yes - thanks Ed, Samu just pointed that out. Still can’t see a way to export even 12 files at a time - seem to need to do it one by one, but I was sure the website mentioned that you could quickly export a set
