  • Great demo! Looks pretty cool! I love granular synthesis so I was excited to see this announcement.

  • @HotStrange Yes, I think this will do well😊

    @thesoundtestroom Nice!
Quick question: does this have the Setting for Knob Mode = Vertical Only ?
If so, this is an instabuy for me..

  • @gdog Yes, full control, Vertical & Horizontal, Just Horizontal or Just Vertical, so three choices👍😊

Perfect! Thanks for letting us know 😺👌

  • I was hoping not to like this as much as I did in the video.

Same! I feel great loyalty to spacecraft, but this is looking really really appealing.

  • Looks very impressive!

That’s the only granular synth I don’t have purely because I known v2 is coming eventually. It looks fantastic though.

  • I think I'll get this one when it's released. It looks and sounds good.

  • When is spacecraft 2? Can’t wait

  • So, it's released but interest seem pretty low, maybe all BF sales, coming holidays whatnot has something to do with it but I'm a bit surprised. OR, people don't know it is released, that would explain things as well😂

  • The first page really reminds me of AD’s Quanta but this looks like it’ll bring more control/manglement(sp?) unto the grains. Orbit and Wave Glide seems to be its secret weapons, err what could give this its own particular sound.

Can this sound like Portal by Output? I have Quanta, Fluss, Desert Cities, + others i think but cant get any of them to mangle sounds like Portal.

I’m hoping this finally can get there with the addition of those 2 “modes”.

  • The sound of it is great, the interface of it is NOT great. If used as a plug in, on iPad Pro, it’s too tiny…it doesn’t scale in a pleasant way. That’s my only complaint.

The UI is my main gripe with 4Pockets apps. It’s very feature full and sounds amazing but the UI is not great. Which I find myself saying for most of his apps.

  • No keyboard hold. Seems like a bad oversight for this particular plugin.

You don’t even have a chance to use it on a phone….its ridiculous on iPhone…I’ve not seen a more unusable phone app to date.

I broke out laughing it’s so bad.

As a heads up, the developer is working on an update to make the interface more usable on iPhone. So stay tuned.

I wouldn’t say it’s an oversight. The app is definitely geared towards being used as an AU and most people use their own keyboards on iOS or hardware so they have their own latch options with those.

I would still call it an oversight. If an app has a keyboard, it should really have a latch function. Just my opinion, but yeah, always aggravates me when an app with a keyboard doesn't have that. Ailerom tends to use apps standalone, so I can understand why this would irk him.

If that’s the case there are tons of apps with this oversight lol guess it depends on how you use it whether it’s an actual oversight or not. I said it’s not because Paul does go out of his way to say it’s made to be an AUV3 by having that pop up every time you open the standalone.

That's true I guess. And yes, lots of apps are missing this, but why! It's such a useful feature, and surely easy to add!

Yeah I agree. Was playing around with something the other day, had the app opened standalone, and I wanted to mess with some parameters and realised that I had run out of hands (of which, I have two)

No worries. I'll just forget about my needs then.

True. Desperately waiting for Xequence to get it.

{cough} Riffer by Audiomodern. Any of their apps actually, but Riffer is ridiculous.

Ah haha, they’re bad enough on ipad sized at anything less than full size, I can’t even imagine what they’re like on a small phone screen, madness

  • I'm really enjoying tinkering with it. I had loads of recordings of foley, atmospheres and drones/fx not doing much in Audioshare. It's fun to drop them into Wavecloud and see what happens.

The sample append function used in conjunction with the waveglide feature really takes things to another creative level.
