Sheesh this place is getting exhausting.

I don’t know. Seems to be just this one dude. At least in the threads I follow.

Everything that happened here only refreshed my interest in Tomofon, I experimented with voice samples even more and discovered a few things. But Doug’s video actually returned me back to Hilda, so thank you for that. Hilda forces you to think differently and get lost in new music-making avenues.

Hilda is one of those rare apps that make me forget I’m on the iPad. Feels like playing with a hardware synth again.

Same! Pairs well with others too as shown below (cheap plug!)

@HotStrange hurrdurr about opinions... there are now 2 other ppl who want to hear/see the sounds you're getting out of Tomofon, i could care less about your word games, i want to see what the app is capable of.

Surely you mean "i couldn't care less about your word games"...?

    Oh, he's gone...

Lasted one year and exactly 1000 posts… my neurodivergence is appreciative of the symmetry.

And now, back to your regularly scheduled thread…

Definitely agree with BA-1. I ragged on it when it was first announced, and I thought "for that price there should've been more to it". Bro, I've used BA-1 moreso than any other synth I've bought this year. It's the mutts nutts. Simple, but the sounds it can produce are out of this world!

And Buttersynth is simply stunning. :)

I was one of those people who ragged on BA-1 as well only to be proven wrong af. The near braille level text isn’t a problem for me because tbh I don’t understand the technical aspect of most of this stuff…I just know if I pull faders down in a certain order it’s gonna sound cool and which each app I basically feng shui the hell out of each parameter and it usually works out just fine 😂

I’ve experienced only workstation synths, it’s not the same feeling as HW modular, but I believe you my friend. 🤝
