Italizer is a no brainer at this price. V easy to use and a lot more fun than half a cup of coffee even if it is a bit niche.

Been considering picking either Hammerhead or Ruismaker but I reaaally don’t need another drum machine. Which do you prefer?
Ruismaker Noir feels less like a drum machine and more like Troublemaker’s goth cousin. (Experimental)
Hammerhead is a modern remake of a Win95 classic of the same name. Octachron-supported. (Practical)
Personally I use Hammerhead way more.
How does FabFilter compare with ToneBoosters? I’ve got the TB bundle and use it regularly… love the presets. Does FF offer anything more?
At that price I’d grab both.
Definitely different enough to justify both
Noir is more of a bass/drum/percussion synth that plays one sound at a time. Has unique internal sequencer.
HH is a drum synth and/or sample/loop player (can do one shot samples or time stretch loops to fit) with 8 sound slots at a time. Each slot can be the internal synth or any sample/loop you want, there is a time limit but it’s long enough. It has a step sequencer and various parameters to alter on the sequencer like pitch/probability/velocity/etc… I truly love the glitch, and mutation Knobs in HH.
Both are great, id recommend buying both, even his whole catalog if you are able to do so….
Ultimately I think I would side with @offbrands and say HH, but you really can’t go wrong.
Definitely watch a video of each and see which one fits your style/sound better.
The big difference is that all FF are iPad only and TB apps are universal.
Other than that it’s much smaller differences. Maybe there’s a few specific features that are different, but overall both developers are high quality.
