@icsleepers @Spidericemidas Thank you Gentlemen. I shall persist etc.

It works. I have imported my Blocs samples from AudioShare into Sydney without problem.

And I have imported all my Apple Loops into Korg Sydney - great fun using Pro loops with Sydney.

Interesting. Do tell: Copy and paste somehow or directly from a folder?

I copied all my 38000 Apple Loops to iCloud Drive, then did an multirename of all copies from .caf to .wav (took a while though)…

Easy to find things also because everything is in folders after genres…

  • Do Sidney and Vancouver cancel each other out, or should I get both?

They’re for different purposes. Sydney is good if you’re using loops since they’ll time stretch and you can use up to 6 in one Sydney channel. Vancouver is more like a layering sample synth. They carry two distinct functions really, Sydney won’t do what Vancouver does and I don’t think you could bend Vancouver into Sydney territory.

I was wondering how to export loops from GarageBand to Sydney but I don’t see any files in the GarageBand folders. Do you have to do an audio export of individual loops?

I took my 38000 Apple Loops from Logic Pro on my Mac, not Garageband…
But on Mac they should be there somewhere in the file structure - just do an search for them.

Vancouver is one of my personal favorite Gadgets. It’s so wonky and weird, I love it lol

Me too - it’s a hidden gem. I’m sure Jacob Haq went loopy for it when it came out. Well worth getting.

I’m surprised I don’t see more talk about it here especially now that it’s AUv3. Nothing else really quite like it honestly.
