  • We can expect - a lot of self-congratulatory circlejerking, grandstanding, fluff and filler
    🤣

Okay jokes aside, my biggest wish - An iPad Mini Pro (or at least an iPad Mini 7 with at least a 512gb storage option if not a 1tb storage option)

A 14" iPad Pro would be pretty cool though, especially for usage as a new sheet music reader. I probably wouldn't need more than 256gb for that model personally

  • Bring back headphone port! 😎
Or at least give us 2 usb-c ports ❤️

  • I just want an 11 inch OLED iPad Pro with great specs and a landscape camera that doesn’t break the bank.

Apple ALWAYS break the bank!! 😂😂🤥🤥

Why not a new intelligent Apple Pencil with included Siri and AI?
In Procreate, just say your Pencils settings, like Watercolor, transparent, size, jitter etc etc?
Of course the new Apple Pencil onboard sun charging and magnetic and also USB-C port charging!

The talk about moving the face camera to long side on new iPads, but, why choose? Put two cameras in and we can have options to choose, or, the device itself knows it orientation and choose right camera for the moment?

Another wish from me is software related - I would Apple to step up and make iWorks more professional - I know that Apple couldn’t bring iWorks to compete with Microsoft Office, but, perhaps fill some gaps couldn’t harm…

  • Of course we can expect some powerful iPad (pros). I‘m pretty keen on, what we‘ll see. I don‘t think that the music guild has to expect more than „a little bit more power“ for single core usage. It Would be great if the M4 (??!) processor would auto-optimize the cpu-acting for single core apps. I mean - that the multiple-cores act as one „lightning“fast single core - that every app could profit from the CPU. Something like the Rosetta-structure just for auto-optimized core-distribution…
    What may be?
More migration to MacOS for the new Generation iPad Pros. Maybe auto-real-time-translated MacOS Software on iPad Pros.
    ML/AI as an integrated part.
Siri - becomes SAIri… and „lives and runs on your local device“.
And I expect, that the iPad Pros get even more Pro pricing - that being said. Hopefully the iPad Pro prices for older devices won’t rise.

  • I expect a lot of complaining here about how expensive the new hot toy is and how it still doesn’t have a headphone jack. 😆

  • New emojis?

Frankly, I'd like to see greater integration between iPadOS version and desktop version. Being able to retain all third party plugin settings as projects move between platforms would be a massive timesaver.

  • Eye tracking similar to Vision Pro would be cool because it could revolutionize midi controllers if the thing you look at is activated/selected. It could enable very compact MIDI controllers.

  • Sometime in the future I'd like to upgrade my ipad to a 12.9, but if they gave two or more usb ports now, I might be tempted to buy one now. But I don't think they will.

  • I'm hoping for small, incremental updates so that I don't have iPad envy.

  • Recently, Apple have an AI model on Huggingface https://huggingface.co/apple/OpenELM

This happens all the time! 😂😂

A couple a days ago I bought an Dji Mini 4 Pro Drone (lovely), but, saw a glimpse today that a new model (v5) is near release, although the v4 is just seven month since release… Hmmm…

What's the current go-to 'plug your normal headphones in and also be able to charge the iPad' dongle for the USB-C models? I will be upgrading from an iPad with a headphones jack!

Amazon has this - read somewhere that is high quality out of this…

    +1000 for a mini pro / 7
You own an ipad mini as well ? And why such a large storage space ?

Yes I do, and I need that extra storage space for the rompler apps I own (that's a lot of gbs in IAPs to download lol).

I'm expecting fairly incremental improvements. OLED display for iPad Pro. A new pen.

That being said, if we get an iPad Air with the M3/M4 I will definitely buy it for more processing. If only the Pro gets the M3/M4... it really depends on the price. Some rumors have said the Pro will be a lot more pricey this time around.

I currently run into processing headroom issues running full projects on my iPad, having ~50% processing than my 4th-Gen Air would be a big help.

  • I learned long ago to ignore Apple rumors and have as few expectations as possible. 😁 All I’m hoping for is the latest iPad Pros to finally be announced so I can upgrade before my bent one develops a serious problem.

It’s possible Apple could release an “iPad Pro Ultra” (for lack of a better name) which would have far more capabilities and be much more expensive, but this seems extremely unlikely. Their updates year to year generally stay in the same price range, despite more capabilities and taking into account the effects of inflation.

  • Definitely at the top of the iOS upgrade features list. 😄

Top. It needs nothing more than these! 👍🏼

For sure the (much?) better display in the 11 “.
What could be great - if Apple brings back the „referral-program“. This would be so great for those in the community who help the others to get orientated. So-to-say taking Their social responsibility serious again 🤙🏻

The air I expect to get lifted to the m2-gen to keep it semi-top, the „Poorman-Pro“ of Goldman-Saxony 🫣

    iPad Pro Ultra makes sense!

If we look at Apple Watch they nowadays have Watch Ultra as an model.

The problem with Apples business models is the way the border must run the company to maximize the stockholders ”joy” - Apple can’t make iPad too good because then it will make an cannibalism on the Macbook market…

Honestly I longing for the day we can buy an all-in-one Apple device that runs everything, just like an iMac Touch 17” that runs both iOS and MacOS applications…

Something else I wish Apple could bring back is a small thing in Appstore - back in time we could look at an app for iPhone/iPad and put it in the ‘Wishlist’ - a list with apps we wish we could buy, but we hesitate, or we hav’nt got the money for the moment.
It was all about to not forget these apps. But, Apple took this away for no reason…?

Just forget an iPad Air with M3/M4 in near future…

The whole thing with Air is weight and portability - with an much hotter and battery hungry M3, Apple would give it better cooling and bigger battery, and the total weight will exceed what an iPad Air stands for as a ‘brand’…

So, if you/we like to have an M3 iPad, we buy the iPad that Apple will release in just six hours…

Thanks! Is there something similar to this where the USB-C port also supports data transfer?
