  • Can you use any of the Logic Pro plugins outside Logic Pro?

  • Didn’t say a release date. It said needed m4 chip to run so I guess next week when the new pros ship.

No, you’ve never been able to do this with any logic plug in.

Hard to believe that v2 of Logic Pro should demand M4?

It’s for the new chroma app they pushed I believe.

  • What will the bill stop at - New M4 iPad Pro, new Pencil, new keyboard - 4500 bucks?

  • Actually not that expensive to what it could be

  • What a tempo for an Apple event!!

    New record?

    ??

  • That event didn't have much grandstanding nor ass-patting.

-Final Cut Pro 2 has live multicam mode. Final Cut Camera app was created to connect multiple iPhones and iPads for a live multicam shoot. That's f-cking baller. Did I just heard about a thunderbolt connection?

-Logic Pro for iPad 2. First, drummer has "session players", a new bass and keyboard player built using AI. Snore. New plugin called Chromaglow, which models analogue kit. Okay that's cool And A STEM SPLITTER?! Now that's excellent. I can't wait to put it to the test to see how it splits stems, whether audio artifacts are minimal or not, etc. I'm sure it may sound better than Koala's stem splitter, but at least Koala's stem splitter is still there for those who hate subscriptions.

iPad Mini was briefly mentioned, but I don't think we're getting any spec bumps for that, which really sucks. I was at least hoping for a 512gb model of iPad Mini so I can fit my romplers on there.

  • So, again, Ableton Live 12 Suite and an iPad as a toy to jam and play in the couch

Cheapest iPad Pro comes with 256gb and is $999. 512gb will put you back $1199.

  • Stem splitter in the timeline is absolutely killer for my workflow, can’t wait! I get lots of mileage from drummer too, so very curious to see what the new AI players can spit out. Fingers crossed the full Flex Pitch and full Sampler are in v2.0 too 🤞

  • Shame that the nano-textured glass only is an option on the 1TB models... seems useful for jamming outside (though just inverting the colors with accessibility works fine).

I ordered the 512GB Pro. It was £1,199 for the 11 inch Wi-Fi model, which definitely seems cheaper than the last one (yep, £50 cheaper).

  • Well shit. My Mini is incapable of stem splitting so it seems.

  • Okay, so still no proper MIDI support for LP4i?
    Maybe next year then.

How can you say that now?
    Have you read it somewhere?

Is there a new piano into Logic Pro for iPad?

    Studio Piano...

  • What about overall UI and especially build in plugins UI in new LPXi , any improvements in this area or it is still same ?

    You are right.
Hopefully it was just not worth mentioning.

Apple is just like that - it can be some groundbreaking news in there's product and software without mentioning...

In about six days we will know better! Looooong wait...

  • Guess Apple is gonna force us mini users to upgrade to get the new features.

That will come in version 3, or 4, or version 10?

But, we just have to wait yet another six days for this new version of LP4i...

Probably things have been more optimized and user friendly...

It seems to be new instruments though...

  • Same tiles, same ux/ui

  • I DEMAND ... full Nektar Panorama CS12 support in Logic Pro for iPad 🫡
    That would be awesome.

Okay okay, a little bit of MIDI learn would make me happy enough.

Yes, you can! Not all of them, but some.
