@musikmachine You can, but I'm not sure if NightRadio has implemented external keyboard control in SunVox yet, and I don't have a keyboard to try out.
@musikmachine
I use AB into Garageband for everything on there, though I've just bought the Abu Dhabi IAP for Gadget so I might be using that more now I can get audio into it. I did buy iMPC Pro with the intention of using this to compose tracks but I hate using IAA, so it's gathering dust at the moment.
I generally use the iPad for experimental/sketchy/fun stuff, if I want to add vocals, guitar, analogue synth etc. then I'll export the Garageband audio into Logic.
AudioBus has completely changed the way I make music, out of all the apps on my iPad it's the most essential.
@ArcaneScreams that'd be cool if support get's added, ultimate mobile tracker set-up???
@monzo sounds like we have a similar workflow but i don't have a mac or logic and still don't know how to get tracks out of GB haha! I don't mind IAA, found it easier in some cases just to get a sample or loop into the sampler and edit the loop points although i've not used the sampler with AB...
@musikmachine It may be added already. Looking at his board, there was talk of support some time ago. It's easy to use without a keyboard, it's just another finger gesture.
Cool. Before i buy any apps like that i'm gonna have to sort out ergonomics to avoid the dreaded 'ipad shoulder' lol.
I almost always whip out NeoSoul Keys. I know it's not some innovative original syncopated synth symphony, but you gotta go with what wakes your groove up, and that's mine.

I can see that. It's a great sounding app, and sometimes a straightforward app w/o clutter is just what your muse needs.
I'm firmly ITI (in the ipad :P) for now, i need a few bits and pieces so i can set it up for playing synths and keys so i'm just using lemur and step sequencers to trigger stuff. Lemur is awesome, don't know what's going on some of the templates but it's been great hooking it up with maschine.

Completely respect this. NeoSoul Keys nails what they aim to do: an excellent and faithful replication of famous electric pianos. This usually gets the most "oohs" and "ahhs" from my keyboardist friends who aren't familiar with musical apps on iDevices.
On the sample based front i'm trying to decide on one, probably Alchemy as it takes up a lot of space with the banks. I have komplete so lots of EPs but i rarely use them, more of a synth head. I'm holding out for Black Friday sales anyway but i've so far grabbed Thesys, Effectrix, Wow and tonight Arpeggionome Pro, i've used many arps but the implementation on the iPad is brilliant. Cheers.
Arpeggionome Pro is excellent. I like using it with my hardware synths a lot to get ideas going.

This is why i bought an iPad the immediacy and interface is great and can get some expression going on with the accelerometers.

A lot of love for Gadget. I think i need a midi app to record into cause clock seems to be on jamaican time on ios8 lol.
isequence hd. i got it shortly after buying my ipad and its immediacy made it my go-to sketchpad on ios for a year, making me neglect other, far more feature-heavy apps that felt unwieldy in comparison. i've gotten a lot of finished tracks and stems out of it that have gone over well at club gigs.
gradually realizing that it doesn't have a lot of features that i'd like -- no audiobus, can't sequence other apps with it, limited sound design options, etc., so it may get less use once i know more. but while i'm learning, it remains where i go to get results.
Anything into Saturn, inside Auria.
Saturn is a stiletto of a vixen of a beast.
Oh yeah!

Still no AB?!!! I've checked out the bleep street stuff after buying Impaktor and the apps sound really good i wonder why they're not on the bus though. :-/ I was thinking about msequencer so i can sequence several synths and record into Auria, similar concept.
@funjunkie27, even bottom burps?
I have to be honest Fabfilters stuff is probably the main reason i bought Auria. Right now i've got my eye on the Props synth bundle.
I run my bottom burps through it all the time. I can add more low end that way ;-)

Are there synth add-ons for Auria? Feel like I'm missing out if there are!
@monzo - You can add on effects, loops, and some other odds and ends. There's a selection to go to the store in one of the drop downs.
Not cheap (for iOS), but then great stuff rarely is...

Ah right, thanks. What's Saturn?
Saturn is one of the effects add ons available within Auria.

Flatulate then saturate, that's what i say!
I'm of the age where that more true than I care to admit. ;-)
At least you'll never be short of sample fodder.
@monzo Auria's still on sale but i have some performance warnings when i don't think i'm using that much and a recent project wouldn't reload. Don't know if it's ios8 but Rim says an iPad 2 should be able to run 24 tracks with fx. Anyway think i'm gonna stick to light use and not attempt any full projects yet. It's a good combo of things you need on ios, i would have spent more on separate apps, i thought performance would be better though. YMMV.
I like this one for inspiration:
„SpringSound“ von Christophe Duquesne

Just got updated.
Nice price, nice sounds, universal, tweakabel, connective...

Ah right...I'll check out some vids...

Thanks, are you on an ipad2 as well? If you are and it'll give me the option to record a few tracks I'll give it a go - I've read a lot of bad reviews of it on older pads though...
Think most of us consider Auria a destination but with plugins like Saturn and Timeless it's worth considering it as a part of different chains. They are both insanely great/inspiring plugins.
