I like the Iceworks stuff too.
I’ve always found the Mela 1-5 apps pretty intuitive, and straight forward for sound design.
Dagger
Moog model D
All Bram Bos apps, drums and synths.
BA-1
Mood
Zeeon
Poison
Sunrizer
Flowtones
Etc…
Also love a good patch randomizer where I can randomize a sound, find a sound I like, or is close, then dial it in a bit, to get it where it needs to go.
I try. I try so hard to really love and fully understand MANY synths.
In this thread i want to say Drambo, Tera pro, Synthmaster 2, and DRC.
But realistically it's Megalit. I've probably made a couple hundred patches in Megalit, and maybe 30 in all the rest combined.
Dreams.
I love Hilda and Sunrizer for sound design.
@all : also have a look at WoodSynth which has lot's of sound design features ...
Woodsynth is excellent… it’s REALLY good for experimental sounds. So is Agonizer …it was marketed as a bass synth but honestly is so much more than that .
Thump One, all day.

I hear this mentioned A LOT. must learn more.
Nerd Synth, great stuff.
waiting for sale- but this is on my list, has been for some time. There's only a few apps that trigger my autism with their GUI and WoodSynth is one of those, and I love it oh so much. Love the green, it's gorgeous.
