I would love these three blown up and framed on the walls in my office.

These are straight off the phone, so they are at the highest resolution available if you just download them from here. Not sure how well the details would hold up if you blow them up very large, but you're welcome to try if you want to :)

OH man, i appreciate that immensely! I'll do some research and for sure post pics of them on the walls

I'm no expert, but, throwing in that the browser (and/or) site are converting the photos, no? Even if they didn't wouldn't a HEIF version be better suited for blowup and print? I'm not trying to start an argument, I do want to know. Print has since I started using Photoshop almost 30 years ago always been filled with myths and false claims. Maybe our own printing pro @Paulieworld have some say?

From what I can tell the browser isn't converting, the files look the same as the originals, and I only have JPEG versions of the photos, I don't save them in any other format. I'll send Drez a PM with links to the originals just in case though :)

This one must be to balance that out. What a piece of horror, I'll not sleep for a week. 😂😂😂

Sorry, I haven't been following this thread. I don't think I can be much help with this. My specialty is ink on paper. If you ever need a million of something printed, I'm your guy!

  • Spotted this wreck in a village on my way to pick up Ice cream from a local farm, looked like they’d taken the bend too fast and taken out the low stone wall
In front of the disused pub.

  • I'm so sorry but, I couldn't help myself but play around with SkipHunts horror doll photo. Too easy with Photoshop background remove, so the new backdrops are all quick and dirty AI, lazy, I know. The glass of beer, I threw in, AI probably would have done it better although I didn't put too much time on it, for this.🤣

  • Gems after gems in this thread. Your 99 cent app might be the reason for me to buy an iphone. 😡

  • Fun walk in the woods today.

  • @Tarekith Damn man, those are sick! That last one is like looking at some mineral under a microscope. Fantastic shot.

Limited knowledge but have built a few websites typically when you upload a photo to a website you’ve made yourself if you don’t compress it yourself it will be the full size/render. It depends honestly.

Now with community/social apps or websites, the app/site might automatically compress it to make the image file size smaller and easier to access for the audience while also saving server space. It all depends on the site and what type of compression they’re using.

Even if they didn't wouldn't a HEIF version be better suited for blowup and print? I'm not trying to start an argument, I do want to know. lol @ the false claims about printing. You’re so right. Everyone has their facts yanno lol.

All print shops have different styles, generation of employment, equipments, flows, etc. Call the local one you plan on going to print and ask them what’s best and they’ll be more than willing to help out as it makes their job easier.

Legit a “how are you I know nothing how can I get the best quality photo printed and what file format would you prefer” - lol.

Sharing cause I’ve worked in printing on and off my whole life and people online are sharing facts of their own experiences with their own print services.

Thank you, I’m having SO much fun with this app. 🥰

The last one is a ponderosa pine damaged by wildfire, then I flipped the image upside down to mess with people.

I'll second that, but I did spot the motive on the last shot fairly quick, not immediately though. "It's" pretty common here 😃

Thanks 🙏 I’ve been trying to get a decent image of a goat herder and goats here for ages. It’s not as easy at it might seem. Mostly because by the time you hear them, it’s too late. They’re back obscured into the desert brush.

It’s also VERY dry here and the goat herd tends to kick up a large cloud of desert dirt dust.

That’s part of the reason for the muted pastel colors here, and it was almost sunset.

Having XP4N open and ready to quickly fire off a few frames helped immensely since you don’t have to fuss with it much. For street type stuff, it’s very helpful. I need a newer iPhone with better lowlight performance though
