Glad to hear it. Also glad to pay for it as an added feature. There's no way that the bulk of downloaders who made Auxy the #2 free app in Music are users with needs/wants similar to those you'll find around here. Congrats on that by the way.
I think some of what you're seeing here is reaction to you guys having nailed the piano roll UI. Those of us who use way too many music apps want all of them to have your piano roll. So yeah, repeated MIDI out requests.
I don't presume to know what every one is thinking (or know your market) but I'm guessing sample import requests would probably go down if MIDI Out was available. For me anyway, sample imports are entirely about 'this app is awesome, I wanna do more with it'. MIDI out would largely scratch that itch.
And yeah, sample importing for different drum sounds. If you go that route, please consider including the ability to import previously existing drum kit file types. BM2, NanoStudio, battery, MPC... anything. They're almost all a variation on 'xml file + folder of sounds'. One sound at a time kit building is time consuming and soul crushing on iOS. There are plenty of kit standards floating out in the wild and all of them have freely available downloadable kits as zip files.
Sorry if I missed it earlier but do you guys have plans to expose the synth engine? That would probably also reduce the desire for sample importing. I'm imagining something along the lines of 5-10 synth controls being exposed fitting well into the app's KISS paradigm. So, no need for LFO->Pulse Width sort of stuff but subtractive basics like ADR, Filter Cutoff/Res, OSC type, LFO rate, depth, and perhaps destination (OSC, FLT or AMP). The stuff that what was popular on the panel of the turn-of-the-2000s romplers like the Proteus. Notice how on the Proteus they don't use synth nerd terms for those—they have tone (filter), presence (resonance), movement (lfo)... I think 'dynamic' A and B refer to two custom params depending on the patch.
Or something more along the lines of Alchemy's pad thing would fit well; users pick a preset and you guys have some preset morphs people can swipe around to discover/change.

I'd be happy to pay for MIDI Out and sample import capabilities, and would also like the ability to make longer patterns, more tracks etc. You've absolutely nailed the piano roll, Lenberg. Congrats.
Btw. we're looking for more iOS developers who are passionate about music creation if you have some suggestions: http://auxy.co/about/

I agree with ol' Syrup and Mickey G on this one. Well done!
Brilliant little app, would love to see some of the suggested feature upgrades, but AB and sample import should be considered essential for most types of user.

That's what I like, instantly makes it more playable than a lot of other 'pro' apps out there, and reminds me a bit of Ableton. If I can get my own samples in and use it via AB then I'm a happy bunny.

on your list and glad to help, henrik. congrats on a great app with that feel of immediacy that many others seem to lack. i'd be happy to pay for an expanded version with more features.
on that note, the ones you said you're working on sound great -- looking forward to options for staccato notes and expanded synth/drum kit options.
the ability to import samples (one-shots and loops) would be very helpful to my personal workflow.
i'd also like to request the ability to export files of the individual tracks as well. that would be super helpful as it would make stem generation easy
^ they're letting ANYONE in here these days...
welcome, senor thonic...
