Thanks so much dude
It really isn’t capture in the still photo
You gotta see this baby move to watch it turn from red to purple and back, it’s so beautiful
I was worried about no tone knob. No problem .I was worried about the five way switch. No problem I was worried about the pick ups .no problem. I was worried about the fan . no problem. And most of all I was worried if I was making a mistake in trading a $6000 custom shop ESP for a $4500 custom Aristides, but with used guitars value really is in the eye of the beholder. I really wanted that 8 string for so long and knowing that the ESP was not for me, in terms of the neck profile, the neck radius, the pick ups, the pick up configuration, the wiring, and the general overall feel and aesthetic grew quite boring.
I could’ve possibly held out for a different one but aside from not having Lugrin black heaven pick ups, this is almost exactly what I was looking for when I set my heart on an Aristidis eight string over a decade ago. This was my back up brand in case I never got the custom guitar that is ironically on the way, however since no one was exchanged, and all that happened was guitar exchange hands. I didn’t pay shipping or insurance, I felt like this was a good way to end my endless pursuits of the perfect feeling guitar brand and model for me.
All I can say is, I am very blessed, I am very lucky, God, nature, the universe, has looked out for me, and my family, and for that I will always be eternally grateful to the great spirit who lives within each of us and is everywhere and nowhere
Finally bareknuckle pick ups are all they cracked up to be. I honestly think they might actually be better in terms of versatility for other genres as well as being very very apt for heavy heavy down tune metal. They are like Lundgren’s younger fresher brother. I actually I’m looking at it and like happy accident type of way that I ended up with bareknuckle pick ups because I’ve already had the m6 and I don’t want the same pick ups in every guitar. This is very close in terms of what it does, but very different and how it does it. I don’t think I’ve ever been this impressed with the guitar in my life. I’m stunned. 🙏
