Not getting sound from standalone with inbuilt sound switched on. Any ideas for a simple man? I thought it would be a straightforward choose some chords and hit play.

Sequencer playback doesn't seem to be working in standalone.

I think I can fix that!

@cem_olcay - That sounds great. I'm really interested to what that fix would look like - I think it would make Harmonicc a lot better for me too!

    I second that!

Thanks for that. Do you know if anyone cares? Is a fix in the pipeline?

  • I don't see a problem on the standalone playback mode. Just make sure the sequencer play toggle is active (filled) on the sequencer header, and press the play button on the top. And of course make sure your device's volume is on

  • Sheesh. I must have missed the play button at the top when I checked yesterday. Thanks @cem_olcay.

... an option to not automatically add chords to the sequencer?

Disengage the record button at the top of the sequencer. Re-engage when you want to add a chord. Or, get used to moving your finger off of the chord before lifting it. After about 1,000 times it starts to become a habit.

Hi @cem_olcay - I'm just wondering if any of the changes discussed recently are in the works. I pulled out Harmonicc again today. I so want to use this, but the workflow to build up a sequence with the sequencer is just too frustrating for me.

It comes down to one critical change. The rest I can work with.

It's very easy to accidentally add a chord to the sequencer. Once you do that, it's far too difficult to get back to what you were doing. The bum chord you added is now the one that is in the selection box and the chord recommendations are based on that. It's a royal pain to get back to the recommendations for the previous chord, made even more difficult because in the sequencer the note name of the chord is used but in the sea of emojis they're listed by scale degree.

I can live with the rest of the workflow now that I'm used to it. Just one small thing would make it workable - having some way to make a chord in the sequencer the selection at the top.

I just can't use this app without that change. Sorry to bother you with the question, but I sort of want to know if I should just set it aside indefinitely or not.

Yes it's in my mind, but I haven't got any time to work on it. This weekend or on the next week hopefully 🤞

Thanks so much for the quick reply. No rush. Any time that works for you is wonderful. I just wanted to know if it's still in the plan. 👍🏼

Using it plus Auto Fills right now for some really nice piano comping.
