So, you really think that if you sold your car and the new ower ran over somebody you would be responsible?

    Surely not...?

    No you’re absolutely right.

However, if the question were asked, if I regretted the sale, as if I hadn’t sold it, the likelihood was, the incident, death or subscription and tracking - pretty much the same thing - wouldn’t have occurred. I would say yes and wouldn’t stay silent. I’d probably send flowers too.

Of course, without more due diligence, how could the sellers’ know the future behaviour of the buyer. And I accept, even with more due diligence it would still be difficult.

You might want to read the forum rules and take a moment of self-review here.

    I’ll get right on that

I’d ignore you but you think you’re above every other mod/person in this place and have disabled that ability on your profile, that reinforces everything and speaks volumes of you.

Is that true? I didn’t know that was a side affect of being a moderator. I guess it makes sense, but it’s too bad. I assumed anyone who liked could ignore me like anyone else.

Ok, I’ll make note not to engage with you in the future.

  • Can anyone else verify whether it’s not possible to ignore moderators? I don’t think we can change that, but it would be good to know.

  • @wim verified.. can’t ignore moderators..

Thanks. That makes sense, but it hadn’t occurred to me.

    Completely oblivious as predicted.

It’s not about not engaging, it’s just not being a pompous, patronising dick when you do.

The Ignore mod thing is new, Yellow Eyes can be ignored, unless they’ve been downgraded, and I’ve definitely ignored TSTR historically but they’ve now acquired ‘elite’ broadcast status too.

Dude, please just stop. You’re not doing yourself any favors by insulting everyone you don’t agree with, and what kind of interactions do you think you’ll have with anyone else on the forum by behaving this way?

Relax ‘Dude’ I think Wim has positioned himself as big enough and ugly enough to handle a minor disagreement by himself

  • So does any know why there are locks on the apps in auv3?

  • Is it ethical that thesoundtestroom account, where 99% is shilling his videos, can't be ignored (moderator 'elite' broadcast status), when other accounts can be? Perhaps a 'Doug Mod', account would be more appropriate, in addition to a non-mod TSTR, less biased and fairer to his competitors?

It must be a side effect of having to give us full admin rights in order to manually approve new forum members. Formerly that was automatic, but the spammers got too good at getting around the automatic checks.

Perhaps we can find a way around that problem. We’ll see.

    👍

Look at us conversing normally, like respectful adults. Well done to us both.

Is the self appointed proxy with little self awareness and a misguided view that their nauseating volume of posts somehow makes them relevant, and less of a bore, having a bad day? I feel sorry for you, try being kinder and less patronising.

Many of us felt the need to delete all apps wrapped up in this mess. I wondered if the sellers’ regretted their decisions in anyway and took any responsibility for the mess, as they I’d seen nothing on that - and to be clear, it's for them to express that not anyone else.

The loss of the apps is no big deal for me, just thought I'd ask a reasonable question in an open forum.

    Please do give up.

I’d ignore you but you think you’re above every other mod/person in this place and have disabled that ability on your profile, that reinforces everything and speaks volumes of you.

Yes I expect to be blocked or banned by you but you’ll still be you, every single day, and every time you look at yourself in the mirror or speak to another person.

FFS, just because someone disagrees with you doesn’t meant they’re a sycophant.

Simon was right with what he said from a legal standpoint. Once someone sells something, they are not responsible for what the new owner does with it. Period. I’m not happy with what the new developers are doing, don’t get me wrong…but that doesn’t change that fact .

I updated the apps and run them in standalone first so they did some kind of activations and seem to work well now, i hope… i even recovered the lost retro piano presets

D1 showed an error or something but in the end seems to be fully activated with its expansions

  • Maybe you’ve passed some kind of test and have been granted access ?! B)

Both VHS and retro piano are locked/limited in auv3 mode here.
I thought IAA might work but it’s not there (if it ever was).

Hopefully this is just teething issues with the new owners … I’m not ready to abandon them just yet. :'(

    Retro Piano still doesn’t show.
