My best guess is audio rendering and project sharing. 🤷♂️
That is a great question. If the app delivers it might be worth building a dedicated controller for it.
For now it's render pattern or song to audio and share pattern and bank most likely we'll get more options as time goes by...
...I have zero doubts that more things will be added over time, that's all I can say...
Good enough for now.
So long as I can render a song to audio and can master it in Cubasis 3, that suits my needs well. ![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
How many presets does the synth come with? 🤔
I hope the sampler section can handle audio loops beatmatched. "Auto-warp" like Loopy Pro, Garage Band or Ableton.
Any info about this?
Also a sample drag&drop function from Sample Crate or Audioshare would be nice.
Watchin the video, looks like i really have no more wish![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
what time zone is this thing getting released in on saturday? could it actually be late friday? depending on where it drops ?
... are those 280 presets or 280 oscillators?
anyway is a lot and at least GR-16 is a delight to program
@arnou It does have audio warp, so your imported loops can be temp synced.
It does not have sample drag and drop.
@cokomairena 2 Oscillators, Osc One has Saw, Square, Sine, Triangle, Super Saw, Noise, Noise Decimated, Chip Noise and Reso Noise.
Osc 2 has, Saw, Square, Sine, Triangle, Super Saw.
280 presets for those Oscillators, the presets utilise all the power of the synth engine, like all the Mod types, Sync, XFM, Ring, Boost, PW/Phase, PW+Sync.
The synth is polyphonic.
You can also use Micro-Tuning in the synth.
After the synth is the filter section, LP, BP, HP, PEAK & NOTCH.
6db per octave, 12db per octave and 24db per octave.
And, Soft Clip Q.
Then follows the Envelope, standard stuff, but you can also use ADSR to Pitch.
Then the LFO, Sine, Triangle, Saw, Saw2, Square, Trap, EG and Random.
Assignable parameters are Pitch, Filter, Amp, Edit1, Pan & IFX.
Unipolar, Bipolar and Half, plus INVERT.
Then 3 Insert FX into an EQ into Main Output.
The latest update also added Auto-Naming of Projects as soon as you hit SAVE.
However I can't see a way to save USER presets for the synth, but the sound you make is saved with your project.
You can save 'Part' (w/3 layers + IFX) and 'Layer' presets.
To do this long-tap on part or layer (top left) and choose 'Save Part Preset' / 'Save Layer Preset'.
There's a lot of stuff to still discover that's for sure![:sunglasses: :sunglasses:](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/sunglasses.png)
@Samu, thanks Sam, that’s super useful, can you then use the new part in another project?
Yepp! They are all stored in the 'bank' and you can browse for them using little browse/magnifying glass next to the record button![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
On a side note, that’s the reason why I’m selling my Roland MC707. No option to save presets. It’s so annoying.
Is there any chance that insert effects will support AUv3 at some point in the future? Not a dealbreaker but just want to know if it's in the cards
This isn’t a direct response to you @Grandbear , ok maybe now it is😅, but coincidentally this has been on my mind too. As someone who likes to resample, i take comfort in knowing that AUv3s are available on the FX returns.
What a thing of beauty ♥️♥️♥️ also GR2 doesn’t sound bad at all hahah, thanks Doug!
I love autosaving, say thanks to Jim!
Anyone close with the Dev and had experience of the original GR development path, what would the probability be of midi export and midi import being implemented within say 3 months of release?
Impossible to say unfortunately. Only buy now for the features it already has would be my advice. Saves a lot of missed expectations down the road.
With respect to MIDI import, I’m guessing that if you loaded a MIDIFX that had the ability to import MIDI, say Helium, that AU’s MIDI output could be captured into the timeline or a clip.
Nearly 800 posts and the app isn’t even out yet. The thirst is real.
Extremely solid advice.
OMG @cokomairena , A Haq attack video forthcoming ?!? Thanks for posting !

It's rather dull and not what anyone wants to hear but just look at how much disappointment there was with NS2 (no audio tracks) and Atom Piano Roll 2 (no automation editing)...
Without a doubt, the most highly anticipated app in a pretty damn long time, even moreso than OneShot was.
Right. And I say this as someone to reeeeeeally wants to see MIDI export and Ableton Live project export. But the reason I'm buying the app is because it looks fun, and I'll buy just about anything from Jim Audio.
Yah the export side is super important for me. Like can it export separate drum hits easily and how are effects treated etc?
Fun is the name of the game
Well won’t the congregation get a surprise when they hear a new techno track competing with the hymns…
