It's obvious this is an opinion, and you're free to disagree with it. I even wrote 'My two cents is...'. I'm also free not to get dragged into a discussion about it, as neither of us is likely to change our mind and I have other things to do with my Sunday. Also note that the entire topic of this thread, as started by Dendy, is that these objects are best explained as non-alien in origin.
Please don’t try to make the excuse you have been ‘dragged’ into this discussion, you chose of your own free will to engage, by posting your comment, instantly mentioning about the threads of this subject, being shut down, certainly not a good start, you then state your opinion as absolute fact, ending with an emoji implying ridicule at opinions that may contradict yours, so please stop it with playing the victim.

Yes, knewspeak's interpretation is twisting things in various ways. For example my sentence that I didn't want to get dragged into something clearly didn't refer to my original post. It referred to not wanting to get dragged into this kind of thing that's happening now. I'm out.
The last sentence is ridiculous, as stated if @Gavinski wished to engage honestly he could have just posted his opinion, without adding anything to the last sentence, but starting and ending in such a way to make trouble when none had previously existed. Given he clearly knew such threads had been closed for similar posts he could have engaged with a little more care.

Yeah, as someone who’s worked as a film maker in this field (wasted a great deal of time tbh) and seen the ways it’s developed over the last twenty five years, this recent outbreak is really worrying in terms of how far information wars are reaching into many societies around the world.
It’s generally why people don’t give testimony in various scenarios, myself included, because of ridicule, so if people stopped doing that, a reasonable discussion could take place, that’s all I’m asking.

That’s definitely an issue; as I think I’ve said previously I personally know and have worked with someone who from the late eighties onwards performed this role for the police in the UK as part of his role as a senior officer and this was done as the officers who believed they had seen something inexplicable had nowhere else to go for fear of ridicule from their colleagues. I’m not sure this forum is a suitable place for that though, it’s a sensitive thing to reveal as there’s many different interpretations and can easily lead to offence being given/taken.

I have been assuming, without proof, that they’re drones. Then further assumed it was being done by a private citizen(s) being careless or malicious. One of my fears is that eventually some idiot will cause an aviation accident, but it’s just speculation on my part.

Whilst this is my favourite topic of discussion, after what happened with my 'Woo' thread I am going to limit this just to this comment:
The US government is gaslighting the american public over the drone discussion. So many people have seen something, and these are people who live in the area, police, governors, mayors included... to just brush it off as 'There are no drones, you are all mistaken', is an incredibly bad look.
Seems to me the people calling for the thread to be closed are the same people who are stirring things up, instead of having a calm, polite discussion on a fascinating subject.
