Sorry @Squishy , I don’t use desktop so can’t really say but would be very surprised if samples didn’t work on both platforms.
Perhaps somebody more knowledgeable, or even @McD 😊 could comment ?
I bought one of the Decent Sampler instruments from the internal DS store that gave me some grief installing so I also bought
it from the online store and it didn’t recognize my 2nd purchase so the license validation schemes for desktop and IOS seemed to be incompatible. But that might have been addressed… After PianoBook made Decent Sampler a supported format I re-focused on all those instruments.
It’s time to make a Decent Sampler thread and share which instruments load without issues and maybe attach a demo
using it. Perhaps someone knowledgeable will find this forum and share their knowledge, until then we should stumble
forward and maybe make Decent Sampler the “DEEP DIVE: App of the Month”. It’s deep and has some real treasures for
anyone that likes cinematic and ambient styles.

Haha, I don’t have desktop either. Didn’t wanna buy a pack and have it not work on iOS. Pretty sure the app was made as a plug-in for desktop and then ported over. Me and @McD have discussed before about how this app runs into issues and frustration on iOS, but I agree that Decent Sampler has some fantastic packs (for free?!) making it worth dealing w the occasional aggravation. I was messing with some last night that seemed to have OneShot level sampling, different sounds for different velocities.
I’ll prolly pick up Paper Drums and just keep me fingers crossed when I hit purchase 🤞
Their synth plugins have properly working midi program change ( haven't tried bank MSB msg ), without the need to fiddle with some sort of MIDI program list.

Does anyone know if it's possible to override specific MIDI and AU automations in specific places after it's recorded? So if I have many faders assigned, played a part live, recorded it's MIDI, but don't like specific automation in specific place. Can I play this place on the loop and just override this exact parameter with the fader again, leaving everything else untouched?
Most DAWs are doing this surprisingly inconvenient (if they even do)
