Question for the Dagger evangelists - it looks like there is no MIDI modulation. Is that true or am I just misreading the manual and screen shots?
with midi modulation you mean velocity to>
yes there is. maybe you read the manual again.
If your in a host like AUM most if not all parameters are available to modulate via midi.

I checked my DRC app and apparently I have already purchased a bunch of the expansion packs, probably from a previous sale. One of the problems I have with IAP is that it's easy to buy them and then forget that I ever bought them. Also one of my least favorite things to do is audition synth presets, because I find good one and don't have a good way to document them for later.
@Coloobar which DRC expansions do you recommend, like most bang for your buck type deal? I have several also.
I never knew FrMS was pronounced frames
Wonder what DRC equivalent would be. Dark?

Fwiw, confirmed working for Sleep Noise and Nature Sounds
I use a bt sleep mask since I work 3rd, typically hit up YouTube for 8-10hr* highway storm driving stuffs
But found something in each of those that I really wanna try out! (I gots mad tinitus in both ears, gonna run some brown and black noise tests with Sleep Noise Machine, and built a nice combo of light rain/thunder/running water/city traffic that mimicks the vids, but really levels out any higher tones that come from real water on car)
Fascinating finds, Poppa! Many thanks!
[Edit: *the vids are 8-10hr. I get nowhere near that much sleep 😅🤣🥲]
I'm curious of exactly this (paper drums and all) - did you take the swing to see if they transfer without issue? Or shall I be the guinea pig?
There are a lot of free packs to test at DecentSampler.com
I did not! I think Decent Sampler and I have a toxic relationship haha. Went to the website to check out the sales, paper drums indeed was a couple bucks off. Fantastic! Months ago I had issues loading David’s (DS dev) patreon packs into the app, all different file extensions, yada yada, so he said the best way to get new packs on iOS is to do so through the in App Store. Great! But when I went to the inapp store browser, paper drums was NOT listed on sale but original price. And the my email associated with the app was different than the account on their website. So once again, more headaches, so I didn’t wanna end up throwing money at it and have it not work and then have to go back and forth with accounts and file manipulation and more frustrations.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s an incredible, powerful app! And maybe it’s my own user error, but the system they have in place for purchasing or importing sounds into it is very amateur and shrugged off by the creator, so I use it less than I would like to.
OK… I will be the Guinea Pig:
1.. I purchased Paper Drums from the website decentsamples.com for $7 using Apple Pay.
2. I downloaded the purchased to my local files in /localfiles/Chrome since I used the Chrome browser. Safari puts downloads in the “downloads root directory.
3. Chrome offered the option to “open” DK_Paper_Drums_Decent_Sampler-1.1.zip in a list of apps and Decent Sampler was listed (NOTE: You may have to look inside the “More…” option to find it.
4. The install did NOT result in a working Drum install. Arg.
5. I looked for any mentions in the “Browse” option and I have hundreds so I scrolled into the “D” area and nothing.
6. So, I unzipped the download and found a PaperDrums.dsbundle file which will NOT load properly so I tried to change the name to PaperDrums.dslibrary. IOS won’t let you change file extensions but I have a Shortcut to fix that but I will try another way.
7. I opened DecentSampler in IOS and looked for PaperDrums. It showed $6.99… arg. So, I went ahead and purchased it again.
8. GOOD NEWS: Decent Sampler checked with the “Mothership” at DecentSamples.com and determined I am a valid owner of this Package and it gave me a download button and skipped the request to pay. Nice.
9. It downloaded and installed without issues… probably a different zip file.
NOTE: You probably need the sample credentials at decentsamples.com as you use in Decent Sampler on IOS to buy there and install on IOS.
So, purchase at decentsamples.com if you want Mac/Windows/IOS capabilities after insuring you have valid login credentials
on both ends.
Now, I need to test some downloaded PianoBook zip files on my MacBook (which I never use anymore, go figure).
@McD
Haha thank you for your service 🫡
