That’s what I’m curious about for all these apps. Don’t have VHS but a few of the others.
I was just able to open and use VHS synth in standalone mode and loaded as AU in AUM and Loopy Pro. One thing, though, when loaded as AU in either host, it would sometimes crash when I’d rotate my phone from portrait to landscape..
I also just noticed that one of their other acquisitions, Retro Piano, doesn’t even appear in my AU list in AUM or Loopy Pro, but I am able to open it in standalone mode .. so there’s that
And added trackers, as per for their updates of these apps. Hence deleted, sadly.

Digitalism also got the tracker treatment - won't be surprised if it goes subscription too. Nerd should be safe.
Yeah, red apps went to subscriptions, the rest are probably in the queue to subscriptions, bummer
(However in Audiobus after 14 days they added also lifetime purchase in higher price)
This was an easy insta-buy for me, can’t wait for it to release! Note that’s this new version is AUv3, and includes two new synth engines with step sequencers. So, sounds like it’s now a basic groovebox like Pure Acid, but with 100+ drum kits and a lead synth. Sounds like fun!
Wtf! Subscription on a synth?????
I bought them a while ago… does that mean i have to pay more? Or am i grandfathered in!??!
Please do not worry, if you bought it before the change to subscription, you will not have to pay for the subscription to continue using it - confirmed a few posts above for 2 of the 4 apps (VHS Synth and Retro Piano).
EDIT: Please do NOT update until the developer confirms whether it will work properly if purchased before the change to subscription
Won’t be buying any more from this company with this approach.
